Barnsley chop

Clutching at straws possibly but Barnsley's form has dipped in the last couple of weeks. They are currently on 74 pts and one win would take them out of our reach even if we won all of our last 3 games. Their last 4 fixtures are Reading (h), Pompey (a), Blackpool (a) and Northampton (h).

So if they were to draw and/or lose their next two then they to come to us and it's all to play for. Although it's unlikely it could be that 5 and 6th place could still be on the line in the final round of fixtures.

Good point. They are on the slide. If they don't win the next game against reading then they will really be feeling the pressure .

Barnsley down to 15 th in the form table. I had the same thoughts but can’t see them failing to get a couple of points. Or see us winning our 3 games for that matter

Stranger things have happened

Had there been two more wins for us by now then I'd be well up for a Barnsley challenge. However I think they'll get the points against Reading. We need to fix our sights on Oxford and Lincoln.

Their home record isn’t particularly good, but they’ve picked up a lot of points away.

I don't think we can set our sights on any specific team. We just need to win our last three games and hope teams around us don't win theirs'.
