A recommendation, if you haven't seen it

Glory, true story about the first recruited black regiment in the American civil war. One of my favourites, and follows the reality faithfully, drawing on the diaries and letters home by it's commanding officer.

Film4, 9pm.

I am left wondering how they'll handle certain words since the last time I saw it. Like overdubbing the name of Guy Gibson's Labrador in the Dambusters maybe?

Good film that. As for the language, surely that's part of the point of the film. They fought with 'glory' despite being treated like shit. Not sure it's quite the same as the name for a posh bloke's dog in the 1940's.
 
Exactly SATs.

The fact a black bloke says it in the historical setting, I'm interested to see if the modern censors treat that the same as a dogs name.

No edits in Blazing Saddles a couple of months ago so I can't see a problem.
