I think 'arrogance' might have been a characteristic he was forever attempting to instil in the side, but not once this season has there been a performance even remotely befitting of that description - so I really haven't a clue how he's managed to conjure up such a load of old b******s ...

Evidence, perhaps, of his own hopelessy misplaced arrogance!
