Precisely. As long as we win tomorrow we are in it on the last day, the psychology of crossing the winning line and who does and doesn’t hold their nerve can do strange things to the teams involved. All to play for
Yes it’s a bit weird but not in a trapped wind sort of way. After what been a very uninspiring season it’s difficult to get too enthusiastic when reliant on other teams. The only positive for me is the game tomorrow is now not a dead rubber & more like a cup tie... it's probably trapped wind but this would be such a Blackpool way to get promoted!
Yes we lost a lot of games that season aswell..Darlo away last game of the season and we squeezed into the play offs because Plymouth drew..What a journey backI'm starting to think about 2001 when we sneaked in the play offs with 3 late wins? This time we are much more reliant on other results.
The only think that matters is that people turn up tomorrow in good voice and enjoy themselves. If we win, let's see where we are then.
You reckon? Think you’ll beat Stevenage tonight. Manager just left and no chance of play offs.Squeaky bum time, I think we will balls it up tonight in front of the Sky cameras, we realistically need to win both, which I cant see happening, so I think Lincoln have it in bag. See you next season.
He does, for about 7 minutes, then it’s defend, defend, defendMost of us have written the season off as being over. If we do it then fair play but I'm not convinced, Critchley doesn't have it in his DNA to go out and attack a team from the off.
...but for once you will be rightI don't think so, not this time.*
*My prediction record on here is truly shocking.
They've fell off in recent results, maybe a fresh squad mindset for those in and out of contract next season? You reckon? Think you’ll beat Stevenage tonight. Manager just left and no chance of play offs.
It'll be a comfort....but for once you will be right
2 from 4 making it only need two teams to drop points, one of which we play Saturday. Think they have only won 1 maybe 2 in the last 10 gamesIt’s strange to think that even losing about 2 fewer games would have been enough.
Rhodes is the reason we are up there but also the reason we won’t cross the line this time. How many points have we gained due to him and Dembele!
Huge loss.
Winning our final two games is fairly realistic but we’d also have to rely on Barnsley and Oxford and hopefully Lincoln to drop points. Too many other teams to rely on for us to make it this time, IMO.
Well I think we can do Barnsley, especially as we are at home.2 from 4 making it only need two teams to drop points, one of which we play Saturday. Think they have only won 1 maybe 2 in the last 10 games
As much as I'd love to believe, the last few results have masked some pretty poor performances. We've scrapped to 1-0 wins, lately, against poor teams, but we also look bloody awful.
So, unfortunately, I'm not feeling it this time.
