If we win today worst case scenario is

I know it’s stating the obvious but 2 points behind 5th , 1 point behind 6th and level on points with 7th and maybe even in 7th .

With Lincoln playing Portsmouth and Oxford with a tough fixture at Exeter , and Barnsley feeling the pressure bs Northampton who are no push over - it really is game on !!! (Although reading away is a tough fixture)

Exactly, Reading away🫣

When you have messed it up as much as we have all season then you can only win the two games in front of you and rely on others not winning…like it or not it’s out of our hands. Personally I think Oxford will beat Exeter and Barnsley will beat Northampton but we should at least put them to the test and hope there can be a miracle. Failure to win both of our last two games makes it all a moot point and the focus must be on that. Anything less than two wins means the season has been an abject failure and a massive chance to bounce back will have been squandered.

Cheltenham will be up for it today as they have it all to play for to avoid relegation - with a win we could actually find ourselves in 6th tonight

Barnsley are on a stinking run and will be looking over their shoulder at us instead of looking forward and that is in our favour.
Northampton have nothing to play for next week and teams like that always play better. (Walsall and Lincoln in our big away games, also Peterborough away 2 seasons back)
Reading and Oxford are arch rivals and they won't want Oxford up.

Any other club and it would be over, but we are a very unique club with the roller coaster reputation. Our fans are capable of beating any other team for atmosphere when the time is right.

The time is right now. We are Blackpool. Stay positive and believe.
2010 spirit when we shocked the world and went to the Premier League.

Its on folks. Do your bit today and support the boys in tangerine.

We could do with Cheltenham taking something off Lincoln today really. That would mean we only need one team to slip up next Saturday instead of two.
Cheltenham still with a lot to play for at the bottom end.

That all depends on us winning our last two as well obviously, which is quite a lot to ask for!

Cheltenham getting a draw or win would be massive

Even the teams with nothing to play for seem to be trying to win the remaining games for the fans and a strong finish always helps. I just hope one of them isn’t Reading!

If teams want to play against us, we have a good chance of beating anyone as proved against some good footballing sides this season like borough and pompey away.

If teams set up to frustrate us and make it a game of us having to break them down, then we must rely heavily on the goalscorers when we get chances.

With reading safe, you would hope they’d want to play against us rather than bore home support on last game.
