He said to Radio Lancs on Saturday he doesn’t know where he will be playing his football next season.Mentioned how he missed getting back home before kids bedtimes etc.Whether that means if a north east or Yorkshire club come in for him he might favour that?Hopefully that isn’t the case
Also I’m not sure if he fancies Another crack at the championship as he said a lot depends on “what happens”

I think if we signed him thinking he is our main goal threat at championship level we are screwed.
Hope you're right mate. I stopped short of saying it, and thought we'd see him in the POs if there, but on reflection if he is half ready then NC needs to have a look at him and judge where he is.

If we don't go up then sure I'd take him but it still wouldn't be enough without another top striker being signed

He’s played half the season and would want a decent weekly chunk. Historically as he’s got older he always has injuries throughout the season and misses games.
If we’re spending big on a wage we need to make sure it’s on someone who’s going to play 90% of games.
If we’re playing a system & tactics to get the ball in the penalty box then you could say do it, but we need a strong mobile striker with pace, to run the channels and hold it up to get players off him and I don’t see JR being that player.
