Sadly not the one we wanted!!

We have been made aware of a charge brought in Hong Kong against the Club's owner Simon Sadler which is entirely unrelated to the Club and its operations.

It will remain business as usual for our day-to-day operations. We understand that Mr Sadler will vigorously defend himself against the charge and there will be no further comments at this time from the Club.

All I am saying is , we got rid of one con artist in Owen oyston , we don’t need another clouding the club , yes , Simon has denied it
And hopefully he is cleared , but I thought we got rid of bad press now at our club 🧡🧡🧡

You do seem to be rejoicing in BFC’s woes a little too much Jaffa.
I just find it rather laughable after all the shit Pilley got on here for being a crook we've now got the owner of BFC under suspicion of a charge he’s denying just like Pilley did.

Still I’m sure he’s innocent. 🫣

But Pilley deserved all his shit. He’s a convicted criminal serving time.

So your celebrations about BFC’s troubles are a wee bit premature.

Who’s to say he’s guilty?

Just cos we’ve had a bad couple of seasons doesn’t make the owner a criminal. I guess those would be less bothered about this had we made the playoffs and played great football this season?
It's an unknow. We can all guess, one way or the other, but we don't know how far this goes, and more importantly how much it will distract (physically and financially) from BFC as a whole project.

All I said was even Pilley denied it which is hardly celebrating is it?

And yes Pilley got what he deserved I’ve never said otherwise.

ALL crooks should be made to pay if found guilty whoever they are.

Yep, very odd minimalistic statement with nothing alluding to being innocent of the charge, just that he will defend it.

Terminology I saw and heard frequently with alleged offenders when I was a Plod.

Not good and a bit Belokonish with the severity and vagueness

WHAT about a dodgy dossier shady owner first X1 in that prison that open prison that Norman Stanley Fletcher tried to escape from all those years ago. Simon Sadler Andy Pilley central defenders. Come one fill the team sheet ., it wouldnt be hard. 😁

I'm sure this will now put off some new potential players coming in. No wonder it's all quiet on East stand and training ground.. waiting till it's all over..

Do not fret if the owner faces a huge fine.

Rely on fans who think another season ticket under Critchley offers good value.

Sadler will see a fat release sum from a club that woos the coach's tactical magic.

I can categorically say I have not the slightest clue about hedge funds or the wheelings and dealings, which I expect most of us on here are like. I can't make any comment other than to say the he has been charged with a criminal offence, he was offered bail if he paid 1000000 HK Dollars, which isn't a massive amount of money and he will go through the court process which will take time. They have to believe they have enough evidence to get a successful conviction so it will be up to Sadler to defend that. It's a case of having to wait and see what happens. It will either be something and nothing and cause all sorts of rumours and conspiracy theories on here or he will be convicted and who knows what the outcome of that would be.

What I would say is that, it is not ideal for the reputation of the club which had been rock bottom just a short while ago and shit sticks.

The statement is crystal clear regarding the position.
It isn’t strangely worded is it ?
Why are they mentioning him as if he has nothing to do with us? He is our sole owner.

He isn’t some third party owner who has a minority share. He is our primary owner with 96% share, this is big global news and he’s in court.

The statement doesn’t add anything at all. It’s peculiar in its wording.

Any financial authority taking you to court must be a nightmare, unlimited funds to prosecute and 100% the courts are on the their side.

Even if your innocent your getting done.

No point having a trial, just pay whatever made up figure they come up with and carry on.

Who knows what will happen next it's Blackpool fc , one things for sure though all the knobber trolls will be all over a view from the tower now 😂 sometimes the light comes out of the darkness , and for some on here they may get their wish (i will say no more).

Most wealthy people are bent to some degree, i thought everybody knew that!
Doesn’t put Sadler in the Al Capone, Epstein, Stanford or Pilley category but sounds like it was an employee to me and not Sadler himself!
Whatever will be will be, its more his problem than Blackpool FCs, hopefully justice is done whatever that outcome may be.

Ugh he’ll negotiate. No one loses face and justice is seen to be served. They still need him generating cash. Distancing oneself from wrongdoing on your ship when you are the captain is different than not knowing about something. He is in a competitive industry and you play to win.
