Not Danny Rowe again

About time he scored again don't you think?
I also recall you saying earlier in the season how AFCF with their games in hand could get in the play offs.
So that prediction of yours didn't turn out too well did it?

2 goals and 2 assists against Newport..............

....... He'll never score in the Football League 😝
Is that 4 goals in total? Watched him quite a few times and admit I am one who thinks he wouldn't succeed in the EFL but truly hoped he would. I'm not a hater and don't get off on people failing!!

More interestingly is the form of jonny Smith who was also at fylde. He must have scored over 10 now from midfield in a struggling side.

Behave yourself 20s. This post was about Danny Rowe not Fylde 😉

Probably an idea to gather a larger sample before judging his success - or lack of it - in the football league.

I wish him all the best and hope he does well but some of the previous ratings and career predictions on here were clearly way OTT.

I will take that back when he signs for Real and is top scorer in the La Liga in his later career.

Who said what blah, blah, blah.

You can only judge it on what he does now he's in the football league and it has to be said that so far he ain't pulling up any trees.

Would love to see him get a shedfull this season. He's paid his dues for years in non league so sort of deserves a decent season or two in the league now

Really pleased for the youngster 😁 Looks like hes up to speed now and scoring for fun. Like Ive previously said... One of the few modern players who strikes a ball so hard and well that you just go WoW!

Watched the second half of that game. Great strike but he's still an odd player to watch. Aside from the goal, he didn't win a header against the centre half and has a very rigid looking athleticism to his game.

Ben Garrity was also playing. Apparently missed a good chance first half. Didn't do much second half. Good energy on him, but a bit wasteful at times with the ball but he did make a goal saving interception late on to keep Oldham in the lead.

When Danny played for my pub side at 18/19 the thought of even earning money for something he happily paid subs to do was ludicrous.

That said he has gone on to score a shed load of goals at all levels up to League Two, I'd say that's pretty good for a local lad who didn't expect to carve out a decent career in football.
Deserves it and although hindsight is obviously a great thing perhaps we should have taken a chance on him years back

Good luck to a local lad who's done great. Scored more than 200 goals in professional football and deserves huge credit for that considering he was playing Sunday Alliance football at 21.

Not quite good enough for us at League One, but a huge success story.

Some on here said Vardy wouldn’t have been good enough for us. 🙈

Danny Rowe WAS a Blackpool player for the youth team, but was released for some reason. He's a player who is good in patches throughout the game. He needs another player (or players) alongside him to do a lot of closing down work for him, as like some have said 2he's not the most athletic of players". In our current team I'd guess he'd fit in with Yates, but not Madine.
