Can someone chase after Pilley’s wheels ...

"We are in a crisis. Struggling financially"
& "We are skint" - both quotes from Knappers on Twitter.

He also reckons 4-5 players will leave the club this window.

Is Pilley trying to save some pennies?

I must say Coutts going to Salford is a big surprise for me … always thought he was a very good central midfielder to have at this level, so dropping down to League 2 is a strange one (although knowing Salford it'll probably be a pay rise).
Skint is an understatement

You can't run club at a loss forever and they had to have been making a loss for the last few years with their wage bill. Coming back to bit them on the backside by the looks of it. If they want to sell Camps, I wouldn't mind helping them out by taking him off their hands 😂
A young goal-scoring midfielder, who is based in the North West, at a club who are looking to shift players … no brainer if you ask me. Camps is exactly what our midfield needs.

Depends how far up the creak they actually are. If they're desperate and we could get him for £100/200k then we would have to snap their hands off wouldn't we?

Back in non league within 3 years. Rightful level is the league below the conference and that’s being slightly generous. It may be worthwhile putting a few feelers out re poolfoot and buy it off Pilley lock stock and barrel. Get the lads who did the Armfield Club up in and within a fortnight it’ll be painted tangerine and revamped, I’m being serious as well!

I have no idea how Pilleys businesses are doing but if he’s struggling as a result of Covid19 a sudden cash injection of 8 million or so would be tempting. Apparently he owns it not the club and let’s be honest they have no fans, no one could have a go at him if he just said he’s taken them as far as he can, it’s not like he’d have hordes of people after him. They’re all Blackpool fans anyway. Just look at the official Twitter and Facebook accounts they get zero comments there’s no interest.

The fact they couldn't match Salford with a long term deal speaks volumes - Pilley losing the plot - sooner they return from where they came the better.

For anyone interested in facts and not malicious gossip from a friends aunties cousin A P has done a video yesterday to bring fans up to speed on where the club are.
I get the impression he’s not off any time soon nor are Fleetwood about to go out of the football league.
Obviously it’ll disappoint a good few on here but nothing like news coming direct from the Horses mouth.

He explained away why certain players have left which was for the usual reasons..contracts up soon, lack of football etc. Said there was no real update on the manager situation, made excuses for the last three defeats and said they would still be trying for the play offs.
Hardly earth shattering news.

The club owe AP's companies 17 million at the last accounts he can hardly sell Fleetwood.

9 games since they won at Swindon. We've not played on 5 of those matchdays and are level with them.

Rightful order resumed
Not yet, Allez, but heading in the right direction.

I posted this other day that Utility Alliance (a utility broker) has just gone bust - it's a struggle out there for those types of businesses.

It's either good news for Pilley as one less competitor - or it shows how fragile the sector is. I know which one, in a purely footballing sense, I want!
