If pool miss out on the play offs by a point or 2 the decision to play an inform at the time Ipswich and an out of form pool could be a very costly error

Or with only 2 free mid weeks left and half a season to go to bypass COVID could be a blessing.

Who’s to say we would have beaten them a couple of weeks later? You cannot point to one single game in the season and give that as the being a costly error. How about losing a 2-goal lead at Donny? Or not making the most of all that possession against Plymouth. No difference really is there. The points we get are the points we get, no season is perfect and there’s always some things that could have gone more our way, or on the other hand, chances that other teams didn’t take when it looked easier for them to score than miss and we ended up with a point or three?

You could say Wigan was an error though on Tuesday if we'd lost. It was what it was and there were 8 other defeats that cost us just as equally.
Whereas that is a valid point the difference between Ipswich and Wigan is that Ipswich were bang in form at the time whereas we weren't. Wgan and Blackpool on tuesday were two teams who were both struggling form wise.
