Brett Ormerod put Blackpool 3 goals ahead against Tottenham Hotspur at Bloomfield Road meaning he had scored in all 4 divisions for The Seasiders - a fact that isn't discussed enough outside of the Blackpool bubble.

I remember there was always talk of "will Brett get his goal", you could feel the place erupt like it was a last minute winner as everyone knew what it meant. Great moment for us and Brett. It's a shame that highlights weren't as widely accessible on the internet as they are now, some games they just don't exist and others its a bad quality recording like this:

THIRD TIER GOAL
26/12/1997: Blackpool FC vs Carlisle United
Brett scored his first goal for the club in the old Division Two

FOURTH TIER GOAL
12/8/2000: Blackpool FC vs Hull City
Brett scored his first goal for the club in the old Division Three
Updated with a fact courtesy of @Wizaard

SECOND TIER GOAL
7/3/2009: Blackpool FC vs Norwich City
Brett scored his first goal for the club in the Championship.

FIRST TIER GOAL
22/2/2011: Blackpool FC vs Tottenham Hotspur
Brett scored his first (and only, and LAST) goal for the club in the Premier League.

FOURTH TIER GOAL
2000/01 season: (can't find specific details about this season)
Brett would have scored representing Blackpool in the old Division Three.

Opening day of the season, we beat Hull at home, with Brett scoring the first in a 3 1 win. 12th August 2000

I was in Goa that night, in a sports bar. Kick off would have been 1.30am so I was going ballistic around 3am. The next day at the beach shack I listened to two different groups moaning about some idiot waking them up shouting and singing in the middle of the night🤔. Great memory, for me if not the rest of the locality😀

Got a mug printed with the photo of Brett one side and us top of the prem on the opposite side. Unique.

Has it been done by anybody else for another English club? Wouldn't happen now but maybe years ago.
I think you're right, he might be the only person to do it for the same club (certainly in the modern era) yet you never hear it spoke of - what a bloody achievement.

Mind you, he did miss two sitters in the opening Prem game at Wigan, one a complete miskick 6yards in front of an open goal. After that, up until Spurs at home, I thought he might never get one. Hence, the elation when he eventually did.

It was a weird game. Spurs seemed to have a lot of possession, but their front players couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo. We were clinical.

I got talking to a couple of their fans on the train home the following morning and they were very complimentary about the atmosphere. They said it reminded them of Turf Moor when the Clampetts first went up.

The clampets clap louder than us, all those extra fingers

TSSBro and my Spurs supporting best friend went to that game together.

Firstly, that second goal was a thing of absolute beauty. It's as good as it gets.

I swear the cheer got louder as the realisation it was Brett.

Magic.

That is why we support BFC....Brett is definitely one of our own and always will be...still brings a tear to my eye just like he did for us at Wembley.

The sound and atmosphere that night was brilliant - it’s high in my memories of that season, probably my favourite night game that I can remember supporting Blackpool, barring perhaps Forest away (had to watch that on a screen at Bloomfield Road). It had everything, singing reverberating around the ground. Some sublime passing and goals. Brett scoring, and Spurs fans leaving early flicking Vs as we sang ‘When the ‘pool go marching in’ back to them following their cocky singing early on.

That looks a fair bit lighter than our current kit

It's good because the band at the top of the website works as a reference point as it it is Tangerine, when you scroll down close enough to the thumbnail of your image they pretty much match and when you scroll it down to the kit it is significantly lighter!

Not only was I there to see that goal, I was also stood next to Wizaard. And iirc we hugged. It was like the perfect moment. 🤣
