17 May - crowds of up to 4000 in football grounds

Sky News also said the Government was considering looking at vaccination certificates which could be used to enter events and for foreign travel

The season will be nearly over by then, surely? Might as well delay stadium crowds until August by when most, including under-30s will have been vaccinated. Of course, county cricket is a little different.

If the take up of the vaccines is approaching 100%, I think I read somewhere that the government would be happy with around 80%, do we really want or need another level of government beauracracy and interference added to our lives.
I know I don't, but it seems like a lot of people like this sort of thing, a significant number have called for increasingly draconian measures during the pandemic.
I really don't want the government to do this just because they think it is a vote winner.
4000 people could easily be accommodated in Bloomfield Road without us having to mess about with vaccine passports.

Nothing we didn’t expect really.
Think most on here said in a thread only a couple of weeks ago we didn’t expect things to return to some sort of normality until next season.

Season ends the week before unless you're in the playoffs. Premier League finishes the following week.

The Play Off semis are usually a week after the final day of the season and so that would be the 15th and probably 18th - that would be one Hell of an advantage if you play your semi at home second and were allowed fans in!
