Really! Has anyone asked for a ST refund?

There will have been as that's the way of the world
There are plenty of odd people and maybe some who really need it to be fair

It's been a risk ever since we all signed up. It's fair to say we lost out because we couldn't go. But that's how it is and we move on. I'm more concerned about how this might affect season ticket sales going forwards.

I didn't take the part refund offered last season so I'm certainly not after one this season having known the situation when I purchased. There may be a handful who are having financial problems with everything that's going on but it 's surely a very small number and I really can't understand why it figured so highly on the agenda at the meeting.

Personally I thought there was a fair chance it would be after Christmas before we could attend games so I felt with limited numbers being mentioned, if I didn't get a ST I'd along with my brother in-law we'd miss out. We like many didn't think we'd still be suffering with restrictions now. But we bought in the knowledge that this was a possibility & that they would be available on ifollow. It's looking unlikely than any meaningful return will happen this season, but even with it's bumpy graphics ifollow has provided a welcome distraction from the gloom of being severely limited in our actions & I've only missed 1 match home & away. Under these circumstances I've no gripes at all, nor would I be asking for or expecting a refund.

Who was the person who wanted the question asked? If it's so important to them that they were happy to use a valuable slot in a closed shop meeting to have it asked, surely they'd be prepared to put their own name to it?

Whatever happens for next season, as long as I can get free iFollow until it's deemed safe to travel and get into stadiums I'll be relatively happy.

Some people do not need the money back and some actually do need it.

I would never ask as I don’t need it, but if you are now struggling to feed your family why wouldn’t you ask??

Some people's circumstances change and for whatever reason they may not be able to access Ifollow I can understand them maybe wishing for some sort compensation.
But for myself and the vast majority of people that bought season tickets went into it with eyes wide open. I genuinely didn't expect to see any live football until at least Feb/March but was lucky enough to be able to afford a season ticket. The only quibble I have is not with the club but the EFL and Ifollow for a bit of a Micky Mouse set up.

Knowing some of our supporters I’d expect some have asked for refunds but am surprised Sadler has spit his dummy over a few numpties!

i don't do facebook or twitter but it seems it was a topic for discussion on there. As others have said since on later posts, you don't know peoples individuals circumstances and if the question was asked to be raised then it's perfectly valid that it be done. Or do you want to play judge and jury on what can and can't be asked? Need I remind you of when BSA used to run these forums and the abuse they got for it supposedly being censored on what could and couldn't be asked. It wasn't of course but here you are[and TAM] trying to suggest that there should be censorship. If you represent BST official in some official capacity you really do need to consider what you say before rushing in to judge. As Robbie said in an earlier post, it's about transparency and here you are doing anything but. Your posts frankly have been an embarrassment failing to give any consideration to anyones individual circumstances.

I imagine quite a few bought a season ticket as they didn't want to lose their seat which they may have had for years. I don't recall there being say a one season amnesty to retain your chosen seat which would have helped.

The only time I've ever seen reference to it on here is that one thread asking if the club will be doing similar when it came out that Accrington were offering refunds.

I haven't seen owt on twitter either, the general opinion seems to be even if the club offered people wouldn't accept so it does all seem a bit strange.

Certainly not and and looking forward to renewal for next season
Certainly not me either.
But I may need a refund less than others?

I will renew next season whatsoever, perhaps a special price would be a nice gesture by the club, in recognition of paying gor a season and a half when I’ve not been able to use it.

But I’ll pay what is asked for next season and certainly don’t want any refunds.

I don't want a refund, but some people might be glad of it because of their current financial situation.
The fact that SS is still ploughing money into the club is enough for me to support him.
Also getting home games free on ifollow is a good incentive to leave my ST money where it is.

Don't see the issue some might have paid for themselves wife and 2 kids and sit every week watching one stream so are just asking the question as they could be on poor wages remember Blackpool isn't a highly paid town.

20s I don't represent anyone specifically. If BSA want to pose a question like then then let them crack on. My opinion, and it's only that, is that anyone who bought a season ticket this year should have done so with both eyes open.

So you've changed your tune! You were initially suggesting some form of censorship of what could and couldn't be asked. You were trying to suppress an individuals right within an organisation to raise a question. That's my only point, Not the rights and wrongs of whether refunds should be offered or not.

Well this was the question that was asked: "Given that it is unlikely that 2020/21 season ticket holders will be able to attend live home matches, how is the Club planning to compensate them for the 2021/22 season? And given many other clubs have offered refunds to 2020/21 season ticket holders, why did the Club not offer season ticket holders the option to take a season break to protect their existing preferred seats?" (BSA)
I just find it a remarkable question. If I ask a question I would always prefer it to be attributed. If BSA want to ask these sort of questions they can ask away. However, it's a pretty miserable offering in my view for reasons I've already stated.
