in fairness Dougall hasn't been good for a while now and he and Stewart are far to similar Stewart is doing now what Dougall has been doing before he arrived
I don't agree Stewart has taken over the role Dougall was doing effectively but Dougall doesn't seem to be effective further up and for me maybe virtues type of play maybe better suited to the team as for me its far to negative with the two of them togetherMaybe.
I wouldn't say that is the issue though; he'll have known what Stewart was capable of before signing him.
When you say that, what exactly do you mean? If Virtue is a direct replacement, then perhaps we’ll be able to gauge the true impact of his contribution in the middle.in fairness Dougall hasn't been good for a while now and he and Stewart are far to similar Stewart is doing now what Dougall has been doing before he arrived
I wasn't aware of that so thank you Matt.Matt Scrafton

For those asking why no homegrown player is in the squad, Jack Sims was recently registered in the 22-man squad, therefore the club don't have to name a club-developed player on their team sheet.
Ok, so you don't agree. And yet neither of us know the reason.I don't agree Stewart has taken over the role Dougall was doing effectively but Dougall doesn't seem to be effective further up and for me maybe virtues type of play maybe better suited to the team as for me its far to negative with the two of them together
What I mean is they are both very similar defensive midfield players who seem to want to do the same things and don't compliment each other maybe Virtue will suit better as he will get forward more. who knowsWhen you say that, what exactly do you mean? If Virtue is a direct replacement, then perhaps we’ll be able to gauge the true impact of his contribution in the middle.
Yes I agree, quite similar, but they make a solid middle. I think with pace wide and 2 up, we can live with them together. I do though think Stewart is more attack minded, so I can’t see what Virtue does for us.What I mean is they are both very similar defensive midfield players who seem to want to do the same things and don't compliment each other maybe Virtue will suit better as he will get forward more. who knows
Not convinced he has the speed to get around the pitch quick enough. Let’s hope be has a stormer and bags a goal or two thoughWhat I mean is they are both very similar defensive midfield players who seem to want to do the same things and don't compliment each other maybe Virtue will suit better as he will get forward more. who knows
yes I agree not sure Virtue is the right man for the job was meaning his style of playNot convinced he has the speed to get around the pitch quick enough. Let’s hope be has a stormer and bags a goal or two though
Just not true. And is about 6 times the player Virtue is.in fairness Dougall hasn't been good for a while now and he and Stewart are far to similar Stewart is doing now what Dougall has been doing before he arrived
And that’s why we struggled in midfield 2nd half against Rochdale but much better against Pompey.in fairness Dougall hasn't been good for a while now and he and Stewart are far to similar Stewart is doing now what Dougall has been doing before he arrived
Quick, get the pitchforks and demand the physio be fired.....

Might be nothing, but James Husband has come out the warm-up holding his right leg. Currently talking to Neil Critchley and the physio
Which part. Dougall was top draw when he arrived but he's not been as good lately I think Scrafton alluded to it in his marks on the last couple of games I never said he was better or worse than VirtueJust not true. And is about 6 times the player Virtue is.
