Boxing

Stopped a bit early mind.
No chance.

If that had have carried on the next punch would have flattened him again. Povetkin was gone

We don't ever want to see another Michael Watson / Gerald McClelland caused by over exposing Povetkin to punches

That said though Whyte is a little too short in quality for real world level wins

Great result. Only Joshua and Klitschko have stopped Povetkin. DW is back on track for a shot at Wilder, although no belts at stake there. I'd like to see him and Fury in the ring.

What on earth are you talking about? lol

He's got more "world" level wins than Fury and Wilder?

But he wouldn't though would he? He probably wouldn't knock him out. Whyte is a nightmare for everyone.
After 3 rounds the ref would stop it. Once the the plastic surgery is sorted Whyte may decide to fight Povetkin again or Chisora. The gulf in class between Joshua, Tyson and Whyte is massive. I honestly think Whyte is the perfect punch bag for Fury. Better fighting Joshua again IMHO.

That's just absolute nonsense tbh. All of it.

The fact that Fury probably wouldn't knock Whyte out is precisely why he would end his career.

It would be a long, bloody beating and nobody would even consider mentioning Whyte's name alongside AJ, Fury etc. afterwards.

I’d agree that he’s not on the same class as Joshua or Fury but he’s certainly got heavy hands so is capable of a one hit win with either.
Think Fury would be a harder fight as it’s so hard to lay a glove on the Gypsy King

Wilder won't take the risk of fighting White. Apart from Fury he has never faced anyone decent

Nobody wants to fight Whyte. Remember he was within one punch of finishing AJ during their fight. Whyte was number one contender for a long time without being given a shot and most were pleased he lost to Povetkin as it took him out of the picture. Whyte v Fury would be a cracker and I don't think either would be on the canvas.

Whyte should beat Wilder comfortably if he avoids that right hand, and then deservedly will have a shot at either of the big two next year when they’ve sorted out their business. I think both AJ and Fury beat him at this moment in time but who knows what shape either will be in after their two fights together.

More importantly Whyte could beat AJ in a rematch, which is the one I’d like to see after Fury.

Can still see that fight when Wilder knocked Fury out and then Furry got up, Wilder all cocky kissing is glove.
Fury put him in his place in the rematch.

Joshua v Fury in front of 90k at Wembley at the end of August would be massive, just think they dragging it out to much and both men will be past their peaks. I think should be a one off fight unless very close.

Whyte to fight Wilder to face the winner, I think capable of having a bit of a fight and knocking opponents out but not world class. A bit like Chisora.

Agree with your last comment, only Dillian has a lot of untapped potential still I think. If he hangs around this kind of level the rest of his career with inconsistency, definitely the Chisora comparison will stick. But I think he's got more of a brain up there than he lets on, and if he can stay focused he can still be the 2nd best British heavyweight behind Fury.

Dillian is no classic boxer but he swings punches from his bootlaces, and if he connects then it's lights out no matter if it's Fury, AJ or Deontay.

Personally I rate Fury above all of them but they all have a punchers chance of beating each other.

I see the Fleetwood Rose fought the other weekend in Spain, says he will be inundated with offers for title fights. Pilley will fix it and pay for it.
