Sunderland

There won't be a points deduction.
Probably a fine and rap on the knuckles.

After just watching the highlights of the game, I fully understand Robinsons frustration at the refereeing that led to sunderlands second. And Sunderlands goal celebration of their 3rd was bang out of order after what had gone on previously.
How he didn't get a booking God knows

Sadly I have to agree about the points deduction.
I also saw the highlights and saw the Oxford player sent off. It effectively ruined the game.
The ball was loose near the Sunderland goal line, and as the Oxford forward went for the ball, he caught a Sunderland defender who went down as if shot by a Japanese sniper. The lad was entitled to go for the loose ball, it was poor refereeing in my view.

What does this have to do with us?
We need to be mindful that Sunderland are just as capable of shithousery as Gillingham when we play them..

I feel Robinson's pain after watching the highlights despite having a laugh at Robinson being marched off.

The referee was absolutely disgraceful in this game. The red card was debateable - 50/50 challenge for a loose ball in the box. Yellow at worst for being a millisecond later than the defender.

Sunderland's second was from a free kick where an Oxford player was lying motionless 2 yards from where the ref allowed Sunderland to take the free kick quickly whilst Oxford players were clearly not expecting it.

And the celebration after the third was pretty disgusting for a professional footballer to do. You'd expect that in a half pissed up Sunday morning pub league by the team thug. The Oxford coaching staff did well not to run in and kick him in the head.

It was a second booking and probably deserved. The first booking was a joke and was what Robinson was upset about.

Certainly make it interesting if they did get a point deduction, can't see it happening though. Did anything ever come of Barton head-butting someone?

They won’t get a points deduction and they shouldn’t either. It’s a matter between the two clubs and the police if they get involved

TBH couldn't be further from the truth. Good club, with decent knowledgeable fans with little expectation. It's the ******** on the Tyne who fit your description.
2 away coaches stop in Garstang every time they play in the northwest

Great bunch who live for their football and like the odd drink 🍺
