How bad was Covid at Lincoln?

Do we know how many players were affected? Not had it myself but am told even a mild case can lead to lethargy for a few weeks after. Be interesting to see how their team responds as the game goes on.

It's certainly not ideal for them, even the ones who haven't had it haven't trained since the outbreak - the training ground only opened yesterday and they all got tested yesterday as well so awaiting their results before they can train!

If Blackpool were in a bit of a rut form wise and clinging onto a play-off spot and that happened I'd be absolutely gutted, their season is over now I reckon.

There are 2 ways of looking at it given their form wasn't great going into this forced break:

1. It will allow them to reset and refresh
2. They'll be under prepared and under strength

Whilst I feel sorry for them, I hope it is the latter!

Reading the comments of their Chief Exec, it sounds like it could still be around and it's a very gradual return. They didn't train on Tuesday. Suppose it depends on what effects it had on those who got it but two weeks without training means they'll be a few sore bodies around the 70 mins mark on Saturday.

I hope they are all ok actually.

I loved football, but I wouldn't want anybody to suffer badly.

Or will be beneficial if we've got a few missing, but it might inspire the others.

And let's be honest, we tend to play to the standard of the opposition.

I am sure Critch and the team will be expecting to face a good team and a tough game anything less is then a bonus

Attack from the start and maybe have some pace to throw on at the end?
I think they won’t be as un prepared as they are saying a little kidology going on, Appleton will know the importance of this game.

If anyone believes they will field a 'weakened' team, they should just forget it. They know they need to grt a result to keep their own promotion challenge on track.

Just watched an interview with thier manager.
First training session yesterday.
Said he will treat it almost a pre season game and use all the subs.
But will be looking more at the results in the last 5/6 games
