Blackpool v Burnley Official Matchnight Thread 27.07.21

Very impressed with the quality of the camerawork. 👍 for Tangerine TV!

Our players are beginning to realise we can take these. Jerry needs to get his shooting brain warmed up, though.

Keogh is calm and cool (mostly) at the back - he'll be very useful in the season ahead.

This is a good test for our fringe players
And they are not doing badly against an established Prem team.
Trialist looks OK considering who he is up against.
CJ if he stays fit will terrorise defenses, we are not as far off as some think

Couple of audacious touches from Carey late on, not at all scared on the ball it seems. Confident against a premier league side bodes well I think.
Im quietly excited about him. He looks like he has confidence to try stuff.Saying that theres been a few chances he could have had a strike off the second ball but he backed out. Shame because Hennesey has always been a dodgy keeper from long range imo.

Great defending by Cook done himself no harm there.

Carey. really impressing as our creative midfielder, is he going to be good enough to be our first choice this season? Should have scored then though.

Good observations from CG, expects us to get some more players in before the start of the season who will go straight into the team, can't argue with that.

We've done alright here. Burnley are a bit ahead of us but we've stood up well. Very interested to see how these young lads get on now.

66 - Dan Grimshaw, Olly Casey, Reece James, Cameron Antwi, Tayt Trusty, Oli Sarkic, Brad Holmes, Shayne Lavery and Ewan Bange are the players to come on.

Established Premier League club playing their best 11.

Against L1 side who's just come up. 0-0 so far.

Antwi continues to impress me be good to get him a L2 side this season. This Tayt kid looks slick too.

Exciting stuff.
