o/t Glastonbury Thread 2022

Meanwhile it's Neil Tennant does karaoke on the other stage!?
Not much of a choice. Watching Kenny Lamarr, never in to the pet shop boys, just don't like the sound of his voice.
Lamarr is putting on a show, some of the imagery I'm not entirely comfortable with, in the sense that it is very American and I'm not!!

At last, Chris Lowe has turned up with his usual smiley face. He should be ok as he's had half an hours rest !!
While Tennant really has turned into a Smurf 😂

Just to finish Glastonbury with a chuckle, ‘The Princess Beatrice‘s‘ card was declined three times at a, ready for this…a ** pop up Michelin Star food outlet! Jeez, first festival we went to late60’s i think, had to dig a hole in the ground with yer bare hands just so you could have a shite, plus you didn’t eat for 3 days and hadn’t a clue where you were!

Should be on the stage Alan you Raconteur 😂

Right, back to watching the ‘Glimmer Twins’ in Hyde Park last night. “It’s only rock and roll” but I like it! 🎸🥁

As Chris was missing for the first half an hour due to "technical difficulties", does that mean that Neil just sings along to a backing track and Chris is actually superfluous at live gigs?

Not that I'm bothered either way just seems a bit top of the pops.

Dreamworld Pet Shop Boys Greatest hits show was supposed to be in 2020 finally me and the misses saw the show last month so they where ready to do Glasto.

No he had two keyboards set up, the first half hour or so he should have been In front of the screen with Neil, the keyboard set up there didn't work, so he played the whole show with the rest of the band.

Indeed. You could see him when the screen got stuck suddenly peg it up to the other keyboard rig and Neil scuttled around the front so he’d be seen.

no they didn't do it.

Yeah I just checked Setlist FM a minute before you posted this. They didn't play it. Strange as it's one of their biggest songs and they always dedicate it to Dusty.

That said they were absolutely fantastic last night. An hour and a half of pop perfection. Loved it
