  1. Rebekah Vardy loses her High Court libel case against Coleen Rooney, bringing the so-called Wagatha Christie trial to an end
  2. Vardy sued Rooney for libel after Rooney accused her of leaking her private information to The Sun
  3. Vardy denied this, and her team said she had suffered "public abuse on a massive scale" as a result of Rooney's claims
  4. But in her ruling, the judge says it is likely Rebekah Vardy's agent passed information about Rooney to The Sun with Vardy's help
  5. Mrs Justice Steyn says Rooney's original allegation that Vardy leaked stories to the newspaper is "substantially true"
  6. Vardy and Rooney rose to tabloid fame as "Wags" - wives and girlfriends of England footballers - but fell out spectacularly over the accusations
  7. The Wagatha Christie nickname was born after Rooney - wife of former England captain Wayne Rooney - said she had conducted a "sting" operation to find out who had leaked stories about her
 
That's done then. All a load of rubbish. I cannot stand Jamie Vardy. Normally I would admire a player that has come up through the divisions. But I think he is a bad apple. Too much of a say. He got at least one manager sacked. His woman needs to pipe down.
 
Vardy's lawyers budget was £900,000 with Rooney's at £450,000 and both are expected to exceed these amounts, money well spent....

To be fair to Rooney, she tried to settle it out of court four times, it would appear that Vardy is a bit of a dick.
Don’t understand why Rooney has to foot any of the cost for her legal fees.

She certainly comes across as being hard-nosed and conniving in the way she conducts herself, whereas Colleen Rooney has an air of grace about her and I admire the way she doted on her sister who suffered from Rett syndrome…

The thought that they were so easily prepared to part with that kind of money in the first place makes me feel sick. One things for sure nobody’s going to be trusting her with their secrets ant time soon.

What has happened to this country that the media feel we have more interest in a couple of wealthy squabbling women or the fact that children are being murdered in broad daylight, nobody seems bothered we have a serious knife crime epidemic.
 
Vardy should have reminded her exactly how they have come from humble beginnings to the extravagant lifestyle they now enjoy (funded by his PL wages) and to wind her neck in and stop being so pathetic.

When the legal bill comes through his letterbox he'll be over the moon 😫

One radio commentator last night summed it up by saying Vardy's going to end up paying c.£2.5m for a 75 page destruction of her character 😲

On the plus side, now she knows who Davy Jones is......
