How was the new lad todY ?

Could not see the game today - how did Charlie do
Nice touches, wasn't in the game as much as he could have been.

A few times people bypassed him only to lose it like Marv booting it to no-one.

What's the point in having the lad on if we aren't going to use him as much.

Are we thinking the lad will get a good run out against Barrow? Hopefully tickets will start selling abit better for the Cup game, hardly anyone in the North atm, only £1 for under 12s and a tenner for an adult

I don't want to put too much pressure on the lads shoulders, but seems like he can handle and thrive off it.

Nor do I want to write off Fiorini after 1 game, but he looked poor today.

Start with the new lad as the focal point and we would have improved and passed it far better, the issue is a lot of others were off it too, but I feel he'll raise everyone's levels around him.

Came on after 70 minutes and was kicked in the air after 71. He turned his man very easily ,looked a class player.

He needs to be starting though. He looked the best player in the middle of the park for his brief appearance, no point having that quality on the bench.

Give it time? The game is over, we lost.

Not sure you understand my post.

He looked good but could have been given the ball more, but instead we hoofed it at times we didn't need to.
It takes time to blend a team and takes time for players to see how others play.

No it doesn’t take any time if Charlie started the game we would have had a better chance of getting something fact.
Maybe you're right, perhaps Appleton could learn a thing or two from you.
Opinion is not fact. A fact is provable with empirical evidence.

Yes ,the point of the post was answering the op, to say he looked good, but could have been in the game more had he been passed to more.
