I have about 8 Sq meter’s of turf left over. They have been unrolled after the first day on my drive, they can easily be rolled up to fit in a car boot. They’ve been watered when it didn’t rain. Seems a shame to throw them away. Private message me if you want them.

Saw a small drilling rig about 3/4 mile South of the Starr Gate slipway almost next to the Sandhills. There were a couple of vans & 5 worker’s. So being a nosy sod I went & asked. I was a little surprised at the answer “we’re drilling a hole & we’re just contractor’s we don’t know what it’s for”...

Noticed lots of broken bits on the waterline amongst the seaweed especially around Starr Gate. Fortunately my dog had a sniff but didn’t eat any, before I spotted it & put him on the lead & moved away from it. It was ok by the Sandhills towards StAnnes.
