    Lincoln Promotion

I'd be cashing out on that £243 and let the other one ride.

    Stuck with Critchley?

Said in another post that Sadler was adamant that Critchley will be here next season and I'd expect he'll show more loyalty to the manager than the manager did with him!

    The Tramstop derby...

Be the only thing this season will be memorable for. Ta-ra ya cod licking winkers!

    King Kenny

Bearing in mind how influential he was and the two goals at Wembley, it was a proper wet fart departure. Such a shame bearing in mind they could see that coming that we couldn't have given him a better send off.

    Wor Terry

Strange what's going on there. Mick Dodds takes over with zero experience whilst they look for a new manager. Talk about giving up on a season!

    Rob Edwards

Haha! Anyone remember that BFC Calendar where Brett and Keith were Reindeers (or something!?) and he couldn't wait to get his shirt off!!

    The Tramstop derby...

Notice they don't play on Saturday and they must see we're a bit vulnerable at the moment. Not dead and buried yet - surely defeat to them would end in quite chaotic scenes!

    Average wage £6k a week

I’d be embarrassed to take that salary if I played as badly as some of those today. It’s like a joiner missing a nail with his hammer and still expecting to get paid.

Progress Chart - Game 39 Wigan

The key difference there for me is that we got in the Top 6 in March and so far this season (and I could be wrong) have we only been Top 6 on the opening day and on one other occasion?

How many 'high points' this season?

Did he? Am not sure he actually got us relegated?

The enigma that was Steve McMahon Jnr

I am always curious as to what happens with players when they leave. Macca Junior will be 40 this year - I found the info below but anyone know what happened after Perth Glory? Stephen Joseph "Steve" McMahon, Jr. (b. July 31 1984, Southport, Merseyside) is an English football (soccer)player. He...

Still no points deduction for Man City??

Doubt the FA could afford the legal fees. Anyhow, what happened to Barnsley's points deduction?

    Player of the Year/Season

What does it say about our recruitment policy last summer than two loan players could be up for Player of the Season. Tashan Oakley-Booth says it all really! Date Pos Player From Fee Ref 27 June 2023 GK Richard O'Donnell Rochdale Undisclosed [43] 29 June 2023 CM Oliver Norburn...

This isn’t a new Neil Critchley thing (long post)

In fairness, there are a lot of football managers who play this way now and probably because the reverse seems to be pointless hoofing up the pitch and losing possession. Whilst you have the ball the opposition don't have it and there is some reason in that.

    Cods done us a favour?

I agree - only Stevenage playing next week. Get 3 points against the Cods (I know not a forgone conclusion) and at least we would have been 6th or 7th again going in to the Derby game. For me, we'll have a huge hangover heading to the Midlands.

Can We Stop Making Excuses For Critchley?

I think my problem with Critchley and this might seem a bit strange but it's how he can't get consistent performances out of his players week in, week out. They occasionally are excellent (and it's, for me, very occasionally) but the fact we can have a decent run and then with everyone on a high...

8 Out of Contract in the Summer

I'd keep O'Donnell and Marv and bin the rest. We need a MASSIVE shake up.

    The run in

I think most of us had two draws for Pompey/Cobblers and so that is massive to be 2 points ahead of that (plus the Stevenage/Oxford defeats) - similar I only had us down for 1 point against Wigan/Derby and so avoid defeat in both games will be more than I expected - if we can get a win/draw or a...

    Shout out for Beesley

Beesley showing consistency would be a major asset to any side - the problem is the games where we have lost or been second best are the games where generally he's not played well or been anonymous.
