I'll go and grab my helmet but since Carey came back into the team both the set piece delivery and final ball through have improved.
I'm not saying they are good and I'm certainly not saying he gets it right every time but at least he has some attacking intent.
The pitch is offering nothing at all for the bowlers so a draw is certainly the favourite.
I'd say the odds of a Lancs win are similar to our play off chances :)
Yes I think he probably is . . . a great prospect who looks international class but should probably be one place lower.
Saying that he has opened before.
Depends how many Portsmouth score against Barnsley. If Barnsley get battered on Tuesday their goal difference will be worse than ours before we play them.
I’m not sure the Norburn / Byers combination works. Byers has been much better in the last couple of games without Norburn. Might also be the weaker opposition giving him more time & space.
If we reach the play offs . . and that's a massive IF . . . the teams we will play we have already beaten this season so not sure why we are all so dismissive of our chances?
Pompey, Derby, Bolton, Posh, Barnsley . . we've beat them all 🧡
I thought Byers was superb in the first half . . his best game for us but faded in the second and didn't seem to get involved enough . . .same with Carey.
Lavery seemed to come to life in the second half playing more on the left.
