    1500 Reading tickets sold

Indeed there are and it's more like 20mins than 40.

    Reading away pub

There are a few decent pubs in fairness, the Oakford Social Club opposite the station has some good ales. Caversham a short walk from the station is nice enough also. Given the early kick off and proximity to the station/bus to stadium, I suspect most will opt for the 3 Guineas though.

Reading v Blackpool Official Matchday Thread 27.04.24

It hasn't been confirmed yet, I suspect not given it looks like being their biggest attendance of the season.

    1500 Reading tickets sold

Google maps say it is a 30min walk and there isn't even a pub stop along the route. It's actually quicker to get the bus from the main station.

Green Day, they're going to sing 'Boulevard of Broken Dreams'. 🤣

    1500 Reading tickets sold

A 20K crowd would be good but don't expect too much atmosphere from their fans. I don't think I've ever seen them generate one and that includes a few games I watched when they were in the Prem. Hopefully we will beat them and they'll be extra quiet on Saturday! 😂

    Reading away pub

They were in the Championship last season and the Prem not long before that, they've had huge away followings. I don't think 1800 is going to cause them any issue.

    Bad news for Lincoln!

It's an unpredictable league, the chances of Barnsley, Lincoln, Oxford and ourselves all winning seems unlikely. The biggest issue is that none of the four opposition teams have anything to play for. That could either mean they are on the beach or play with freedom. I expect a few twists and...

    Coming down from the Championship?

The Huddersfield v Brum game on Saturday is massive, if that ends in a draw I can see both of them dropping down. Wednesday are the only ones who seem to be able to get a win at the moment. All 3 of them have tricky last games, Birmingham being at home could well be decisive. I guess I'd prefer...

    Reading away pub

I would imagine Oxford, Portsmouth and Derby all took maximum allocation. No doubt Bolton and any London club will have taken a fair few. Then you have Northampton and Wycombe who are both close. I don't think 2K+ away fans is something they aren't used to.

    Everton v.Liverpool

If the Saudi League are prepared to pay £80M for Salah, how much would they have to spend to get Dembele?! 😂

    Everton v.Liverpool

Nunez, Diaz and Salah are just so wasteful, all need binning off. If Kane, Watkins, etc got the amount of chances they do, it would be game over tonight. Fair play to Everton they deserved their lead but you can't miss chances like Liverpool have done and expect to win a title.

    Team for Reading

Absolutely but he really hasn't impressed in L1, I just don't see him suddenly improving. I do agree that we lacked leadership and experience in the middle of the park but I'll be honest, I'd much prefer that to be in the form of George Byers.

    Team for Reading

I doubt it, he's never made an impression at that level. His lack of pace and one dimensional passing won't improve in the league above or at least I highly doubt it.

    Team for Reading

I'm clinging to the hope that his injuries haven't fully cleared up and he's not been 100%. If what we've seen is 100%, then we need to be ruthless and move him on.

    Reading - MORE TICKETS ALLOCATED

Whereabouts do you live? My apartment overlooked the canal, then I moved near the race course and ended up on Valley Road on the south side of Newbs. The only time I saw any tangerine was before the various play off finals. The Lion is a good pub, do they still have a Thai kitchen?

Your Predicted Final Play Off Place Teams

It'll probably finish as it stands now. I can't see Barnsley dropping points and I have a horrible feeling Pompey are still p1ssed up having wrapped up the title a week ago.
