    Unbelievable

We live in a time where intelligent people are being silenced so as not to offend stupid people, is a quote I saw this morning on Facebook. Some would agree some would not. I had a post removed by the guardians of good taste, and I say that lightly, a week or so ago due to the content...

    The Police, unbelievable.

We are presently looking after my daughter's dogs, and there was a knock at the door. A burly Policeman was standing there who told me our dogs were chasing people on bikes. I said impossible they haven't got bikes.🐶

    Robbing Barstewards

Have just received my renewal figure for the car insurance from Direct Line, in which I do around 3,000 miles a year. Last year it was £320. This year they were asking for £530. That is with 9 plus years no claims ( my last one was 15 years ago). Just been online and signed up with the RAC £335.

Worrying. (no doubt this will be removed)

    Vote for Putin.

Who else? Is there anyone? If so how long have they got? Like Belaruse and the UK it's first past the post, if anyone can reach it. Odds on a Putin win should make interesting reading, Put on £10K to win 1p no doubt. And some complain about our system!

    Angela Rayner

I'm surprised there is no mention of her being investigated by the Police for giving a wrong address of her hereditament. On second thoughts , no I'm not surprised, as she is not a Tory.😐

    SCAM

I have just checked out a site advertising on the internet, a device to plug into your TV which allows you to see all TV channels around the world. The device is currently on special offer and the advert is very convincing. I checked out the email address on three scam sights and each one gives...

    Last night.

I was in a pub, which was rather packed, and saw quite an angry and strange confrontation. Two guys were sitting talking and it was pretty obvious they were partners. One of them was quite tall and white whilst the other was fairly small and had some far eastern looks about him. Sitting next to...

    Glutton for punishment.

I am a season ticket holder, and attend 99% of Saturday games (Xmas /new year excepted) Midweek, I find, is a long hall, a hall I used to do when younger, but rarely do now due to age, roadworks, and time to bed, I'm often knackered the following day , as I am presently. A reason also why I no...

    Putin's History Lesson

If anyone heard it he was going on about Russia wanting its land back that was traditionally theirs, such a Ukraine. I've read this morning that the Chinese are now considering asking for their land back that was ceded to them in the 1800's i.e.Vladivostok and possibly more. What goes around...

    Reward for lost glasses.

I lost my glasses on Saturday, where I don't know. They are in a red glasses case, there is a blue and silver pen, a dibber for messaging and a black comb in the case. If anyone has found them or finds them please let me know on here they are worth a tenner if returned.

    12 steps to Lennon

My wife is well into searching family trees and has managed to get her own family way back to the 1600's, and hasn't proven it as yet, but seems to be related somewhere along the line to Hereward the Wake. I always knew she was trouble. 🙄 She has already found that I am, by marriage...

    One Life.

Yesterday was the first time ever that I have sat in tears in a cinema, well the first time since I saw Bambi as a child. What a hell of a picture this is, very heart wrenching and true, to book. It is the true life story of Sir Nicholas Winton, who saved over 600 Jewish children from the...
