Sometimes injustice can be a platform for achievement and you could detect a fire in the belly today from our players that has been absent from many of our performances (largely away from home) this season. Let's hope sense prevails and the red card is turned over and we can go again on Tuesday.

I have often wondered why the immediate 'go to' fall guy for our defeat and poor performances on the road is the manager? Even if you don't agree with formations and substitutions, it's like saying Andre Bocelli wouldn't give singing Bob the Builder a good go and it be a hit!

Totally agree - shame that the old AVFTT wasn't updated to this site so we could see how many posters are still around from the old days of League Two under McMahon. There are a few who have kept their usernames for 20+ years who are undoubtedly the voices of reason on here.

I think we've had relative success this season (and could still end the season with a trophy and a play off game) and we have some stability and a plan. Ludicrous to throw that away based on a few poor away performances and seemingly an agenda against the manager from a minority.

What a great day to get 3 points (not being presumptive) - Oxford, Stevenage and Barnsley games off and if we can get a win even though they have games in hand it just puts a bit of pressure on them.

... unlike when we screwed up against Northampton, no one really losing to these lower teams above us. Wheels have come off a bit at Oxford but still 8th and lots of teams above us with games in hand.
