Has Critchley lost the Dressing Room ?

Critch has to ditch his two ipad cronies and get himself some decent backroom support otherwise he has no chance of turning it around next season. Unfortunately I suspect he is too stubborn to act and will end up on the scrap heap or back in academy football.

    Hayden Coulson

Turning point was v Bolton. He was very average before and has been very good since. Lets hope his good form continues
  3. SIDEFOOT_SID

    Ollie Norburn

Spot on. Early season Norburn was very strong in the tackle and was getting on the ball making stuff happen. Must be a niggle which is easy to see how he got it by flying into tackles. Kev Stewart was the same, he was flying into tackles, which was great for 5 minutes until he got injured...

    Coulson v Dale or Lyons

Coulson had been crap. Looked much better v Bolton before he went off at HT and seems to upped his game v Shrews. Long may his good form continue and I'll be happy to take back my earlier assessment of the lad!

Poll - Bigger Away Supporter Numbers?

100% let the oppo have maximum allocation if the infrastructure allows. Its football not war, its entertainment

    Coulson v Dale or Lyons

Spot on. Too many passengers in the squad. They might be fit and try hard and that might be ok for L2 level but they ain't good enough for L1 play off hopefuls. Dale is the best of that bunch and he has gone to a rival

    Coulson v Dale or Lyons

Tend to agree. Neither anywhere near good enough. Virtue has gone backwards.

Connelly and Coulson looking hopeless too.

Blackpool v Peterborough BSM Semi Final Official Matchnight Thread 20.02.24

Posh very good Pool very poor. Can't get near them. Losing it in midfield. Virtue much too slow to close down. Morgan anonymous and Norburn sloppy.

    The Posh Pitch?

I was expecting it to be terrible but it looked in reasonably decent condition. 10+ years ago people would be saying it was in great nick for this time of year.

Well done Grimmy. OK not the best at dealing with the high balls into the box under pressure but did just enough. Some of his saves though, top drawer. As for the rest of them..not far off disgraceful. Utter w@nk

Dom Thompson to FGR on Loan

More sensible window business by the club. DT just needs a run of games. If he can get his confidence back up he would be an asset to any team. The odd run out here and there in the first team did nowt for him.

    Rhodes last game?

Exactly Hampshire. And on that basis he will most likely be back at Udders as soon as the loan contract allows. But you never know, Christmas miracles do happen..
  15. SIDEFOOT_SID

    Rhodes

Unfortunately they can't not take him back now. He has too many goals to ignore and Hudders predicament is dire. If they don't take him back and get relegated with a crap goals for column, there will be uproar. It's Rhodes fault, he has scored too many!!!
  16. SIDEFOOT_SID

    Kouassi

He was superb leading the line at home to Reading. Linked very well with Rhodes, mind you who doesn't play well with Rhodes

    Constant moaners behind us

You're not wrong Walnut. Those lads should go and support Man City; if they can't enjoy a 4-0 hammering and are just looking to pick faults with a slow pass here and there or a dodgy kick from Grimmy....it's time to go lads. It's called game management lads. Just enjoy it.

    Shrews Fans not happy

We sat in the South. Shrews fans didnt stop singing. Superb away following. Credit to the club. 10/10. Pity their team were woeful. Worst away performance I have seen, possibly ever.
  19. SIDEFOOT_SID

    Dom Thompson

Agreed. I wasn't at BR last night but he was getting up and down very well in the 1st half at Charlton. Definitely a good squad option and must be pushing for a regular start

    Any changes for Oxford?

He stuck with CJ and look how that is working out. Stick with Carey.
