    Top 10 Finish

I know a few Doom and Gloomiest were speculating on us finishing below mid-table but looking at the way things stand, I can't see us finishing outside the Top 10. With that in mind if we miss out on the Play Offs , is a Top 10 place acceptable and would it matter where 7th to 10th we finish?!

    Southgate at Man U

😁😁😁 England manager Gareth Southgate and Brentford boss Thomas Frank are among the options being considered by Manchester United if they choose to replace Erik ten Hag at the end of the season.

    Worst behaving fans?

No surprise, never had a problem with them before Wembley but they were absolute tools that day and have disliked them since. Football Teams with the Worst-Behaving Fans, New Research Reveals West Ham United has the most hooligans, with 214 arrests from 2019 to 2023 Manchester United ranks...

    The frustrating thing is

We are effectively 4 wins and a draw off an automatic place. We can all go back through this season and remember at least 5 games where the opposition weren't all that great and yet under Critchley we have somehow conspired to lose those games through poor formation, team selection and...

    IF we win tomorrow

Does it validate Critch's team selection on Tuesday - playing the likes of Virtue, Coulson, Beesley and Connolly if it keeps a few fresh legs for Saturday's game?

One Player from last 2 L1 Promotions?

If you could have one player now in the side from our last 2 L1 promotions who would it be? Ian Evatt for me. Someone who is a bit of a bully, can motivate and can lead whilst also chipping in some goals.

Top 7 still to play each other

Looking at the remaining fixtures, there are still plenty of games involving the Top 7. Whilst we still have Pompey, Barnsley, Derby and Bolton to play ... Pompey have 5 of Top 7 to play (6 of Top 8) Derby have 3 of the Top 7 to play (4 of Top 8 Bolton have 5 of the Top 7 to play (6 of Top 8)...

    The Off Side Rule

Looking back at Oxford's goal, at least two of their players were in an off side position (had they made contact with the ball), nevertheless both would have been in Grimmy's eye line and potentially distracted him - just feels strange when players are 'active' in play and that close to the...

    Up Top Tomorrow

Looks like Rhodes is still injured - think I'd play Lavery and Joseph - Kouassi is an impact player for me and not a starter.

    o/t BFC Fancy Dress ideas

Mate is having a 50th and is a fellow BFC fan and was trying to think of something related that I could go as. We often talk about when Chris Malkin came in the FA Cuo game and went off looking like Mr Bump but obviously wasn’t wearing a Blackpool shirt. Any classic moments, identifiable players...

    Penalty Taker

Anyone else wonder if Morgan should take our penalties - has power, an eye for goal and is clearly confident - must say Rhodes penalties have been underwhelming even if he has scored a few of them.

    McCarthy's win rate

Just found this nugget "His 14.29-per-cent win percentage at Bloomfield Road was his lowest across his managerial career' .. they could have put Mick Miller in charge and he'd arguably have done better!

Ironically, if we were doing well

We'd be delighted by tonight's fixtures Oxford v Barnsley Peterborough v Derby Would've been a good catch up night. As it is, a win would keep us in touch but that's about it.
