After promising TSSJr3 at the start of the season we'd go to Reading if we had something to play for as it's his birthday weekend; I can't actually believe I've just had to purchase them!
I still can't see us getting in to the playoffs - but a promise is a promise.
Come on Blackpool!
Long story short, my recently semi-retired father in law is giving us the 1½million air miles he's accumulated over the years (mother in law hates flying, and he's adamant he doesn't want to fly again - having flown so much over the years).
It's the KLM/Air France version.
Anyway, me and...
No idea whether this has been discussed on here.
After looking at the Arsenal/Tottenham fixture this weekend and with a proper integrated BFC women's team (not the Community Trust's arms length teams) and they played at Bloomfield Road what do you think the attendance would be?
On a par with...
At least the traffic was decent on the way home and no fog or rain to contend with for the first time in ages.
On reflection we never really got near them, they bossed probably 70 minutes of football.
The first was a great passing move and a brilliant finish. It happens.

It was about this time 5 years ago today when my two boys (then aged 9 &14) pestered me to take them to the demonstration v Arsenal in the FA Cup.

And to top it off we've been stuck on the A1M for 30 minutes.
Road closed behind us.
I suppose it could be worse aha I could be involved in whatever is going on a mile ahead.
Edited: Got through to our ticket office; tickets are POTD, an extra £2 per ticket cash and card accepted at their ticket office.
Means I can make a later decision!!
Sorry if there is a thread on here somewhere in the past.
I was watching Salvage Hunters on Quest last night with Jonny Vegas who got to visit the Illuminations depot (first aired in 2022).
It's an incredible 8 minutes of television; and his reaction to switching the lights on, was probably...
Quite the contraction in the economy in one month. And I know it's subject to revision.
Interest rate rises doing the job the BoE want by the looks of it. Did they go too hard too fast though?
Going to be another difficult winter.
Over four years for the UK TV rights for the PL yet so many clubs are going out of business.
I'm not sure the bubble will burst, but the playing field is so uneven, sporting integrity is out of the window.
I hope we get back one day, but it's becoming incredibly difficult.
