    Coulson

Coulson gets knocked over far too easily, ideally we could do with someone who can beat his man and add a bit of steel to the side.Reading players left him in a heap after every 50/50.

    Casey

Big Marv has got a very serious flaw, He is constantly caught ball watching.

    Lee Charles‘s post match Show

HOW can anyone say our defence is not the problem after a season like we have just injured. Did you not see our ball watching defenders on Saturday. Expeteta and Husband didn't even realise their centre forward was behind them! Defending like that usually ends in relegation.

    Player taking responsibility?

To add to this has anyone else noticed that when big Marv is challenging an opposing player Pennington always tucks in behind in the centre leaving his own position exposed (like yesterday) Doesn't he trust Marvs?

The Summer Transfer thread - Part 1.

If Expeteta and Hubby stay we will always be conceding goals like today, both caught ball watching. We need better.

POLL: End of season Critchley in or out

It wasn't the striker's who were ball watching as 3 Reading goals went in today.

    The defence!

Well as it turned out if only we could defend we would be in the play offs. Expeteta didn't know where Smith was most of the time and he was given a gift for the first goal with neither Marvin or Hubby picking up. Then for the other two goals we had two of the centre halves going for the same...

Although Did Pennington even pass to him once? If Critchley was a decent coach he would be putting thing's like this right.

It's like he has never been taught to find space, he just stands there on the touchline. A

Blackpool v Fleetwood Official Matchnight Thread 09.04.24

I thought Carey was out of position most of the first half , he was hugging the left touchline which basically rendered Coulson redundant. I couldn't understand it because the two were beginning to gel. It left Byers to do most of the graft in midfield, although it was good to see Byers often...

    I enjoyed that.

I heard he was on loan from somebody? I naturally thought he was a young keeper just starting out. He was absolutely brilliant though. Think I need to go to Specsavers.

    I enjoyed that.

So what you are saying is you can criticise other pool supporters for taking in a very important local game because I didn't fancy either the journey or the lackluster performance we are serving up at the present, and you have turned up for a mere half a dozen games and wouldn't have gone to any...

    I enjoyed that.

I couldn't honestly say as the announcer went through the teams but apart from Jake Daniels and James Hanson I wouldn't have known who was playing. One thing I did learn was that Colby Bishop started in the Basford academy.

    I enjoyed that.

I met Keith Southern at Guiseley last pre season with his Everton under 21 side , I was introduced to him through my grandson who was a linesman at the game. It made my day as I thought Keith was a great player in his time with us.

    I enjoyed that.

If by some miracle Critchley managed to get this side into the play offs, the way we have been playing then you could say the end justifies the means. But i personally think the entire playing side under Critchley is far too negative, and if it's the players (fault) as he keeps telling us ie...

If the squad isn't any good...

Well we wouldn't be playing 3-5-2 or 5-2-1-2 if the players had anything to do with it. They certainly do enjoy it at the moment that's for sure.
