This painting by Picasso has sold for £113 million, I’m no art expert, but it seems to me that someone has been taken for massive fool.

If youve got billions to invest its important to diversify your investment. The new owner probably has ownership of various property funds, commodities and businesses and is looking to place funds in an entirely different sector.

The purchaser will probably never look at it or display it.

Sean Dyche?
I'm sorry, I can't keep up the charade any longer, it's not my picture 😳

I just wanted to know what it felt like for people to think I had talent... and for that brief moment, it was glorious. I could never produce such high calibre work.

But you're right, there is a resemblance, although he seems to have Gary Linekers FA Cup ears.

It’s very good nonetheless… There’s some talented individuals out there 👍

I’m surprised those JSO idiots haven’t thrown paint over it and walked away with a slap of the wrists. Might have improved though 🫢

There was an original Lowry at St Annes auctions recently and you really wouldn't give it wall space if paid to do so. Still, it can always go in the Tate along with the other tat there.

On an artist related note....
VanGogh walked into a pub....

I went to see the Picasso museum in Barcelona during my art foundation course.
He could paint. But I really struggle to like any of his child-like abstracts. I get it, I just don’t like them. Seeing loads in one place didn’t really help grow my minimal appreciation of the collective work.

The Salvadore Dali exhibition on the way back was however, hugely impressive.
