1% of the richest people in the UK pay 30% of total income tax received

Isn't that enough for you?

Be plenty of affordable houses if they weren't given to benefit cheats and foreign nationals for free

No it's not. The wealth of the country is increasingly being siphoned away by those people, while the price of everything escalates and many people struggle.

You are on about Global companies i see (isn't that what your link is about) Not wealthy individuals who pay more tax than poor people

There is no doubt that massive companies try and avoid tax but that wasn't what you said

The facts are quite simple the rich pay more tax than the poor

In my world people should be encouraged to work instead of being given hand outs

Well I wasn't wrong, we just disagree about what to do. Farage doesn't want to tax the rich, doesn't want climate change policies, doesn't want financial regulation. He works for his masters. Pints the finger at foreigners and other groups, away from the people who call all the shots.

What happens to the boats once they've dropped their booty off? Surely they are confiscated and the pilots arrested? If that happens then logic says the boats would dry up as would the number of available drivers.

Unfortunately not, they get about half way and then our lifeboats pick them up and they go back to pick more paying economic (nearly always male in there 20s)tourists up …..🤷‍♂️
 
573 crossed the channel yesterday in small boats, at least that’s how many we know about. Sending 50 a week back is going to have a massive effect. Starmer is a genius.
