2020/21 Season

I've seen a few posts stating how much stronger the last promotion team was. For way of comparison I thought I'd look at the team that played the fourth game of that season. Didn't look too impressive to me.

Maxwell
Turton
Marvin
Husband
Mitchell
Ward
Robson
Anderson
Yates
Hamilton
Lubala

Out of the 8 players who have left I reckon I would only go for Jerry and Keshi over what we currently have.
Bench was ;-
Sims, Gabriel, Williams, Sarkic, Madine, Kemp, Garbutt
 
By then we had gotten our mojo. As I've been saying about this season; it's not the players, it's the formation. Btw, we didn't play 3-5-2 that season.

No we hadn’t. We had just lost our 3rd game out of 4 played. We wouldn’t win for another 4. Some perspective desperately needed.

I always thought Ollie Turton was a class player.
