4 of our first 6 games...

Now the transfer business is done and dusted and we've had an unparalleled turnover of players, we have to give Critchley time to get the best team sorted. End of the year will do for me and then have a look.
Bed everybody in for a push next year? I've no problem with your long term view but I'd like a bit of on-pitch progress in the meantime.

As much as we all crave instant results on the pitch, there has to be a realistic period of bedding in. We have to be patient even though many don't want to be.

Wouldn't it be great if this season was a build season and then next season, just as all the fans are allowed back in, we get to watch a promotion season.

Half the problem has been performances deteriorating rather than improving. What the hell has happened to us since the pre season carefree energised Uber press performances?

at least this draw stops the rot but again we went behind. It can’t keep happening game after game.

I was encouraged that we managed to recover from going a goal behind (against the run of play), something we haven't done so far.

NC might be a highly qualified coach, but he can't plan for unforced individual errors, which have been very costly in all league games (apart from Swindon) so far before today.

Marv missed a long ball today, but for once we weren't punished as their guy skewed it well wide. Other than that, I was pleased to see us dominate without costly errors As already posted, Kenny Dougall could free Robson up a little more. We might dominate possession at the moment but we simply don't create enough attempts on goal (apart from Plymouth)

But whilst I admire positivity, I think we should manage our expectations a little, perhaps a season of consolidation then promotion next season? It might only be a draw against Crewe today, but for me it stopped the rot. It might take more matches to let the newer-new players gel, but I'm feeling more positive tonight than most Saturday nights this season to date

I would like to know what the problem is with our managers and substitutions over the last few years. It seemed to start with Bowyer, although I obviously didn’t see the games I still read the reports. He never seemed to make a sub until at least 70 minutes, whatever the state of the game. This carried on through Macphillips, Grayson and now NC, who seems to make some weird subs,if at all. Go back to Holloway and nobody, even him at times, had any idea what subs were going to be made. He decided at the time and according to what was happening on the pitch. Is this happening or is it just me?

I'd say Larry was more proactive than Critch so far...

At this point of the season, the table shows you very little. My pre-season prediction was Ipswich and Hull would be promoted and I don't think that will change. Lincoln and Plymouth won't stay in the Top 6 and if we can start to hit some form I can see us being up there with Sunderland, Peterborough and maybe Portsmouth in the final throw of the dice.

Have been against teams currently on the top 8...

one of these games it will click and we’ll be laughing after that, especially with 4 players to come in and improve the starting 11

keep calm and carry on - UTMP
The team we won are 17th....
The team we drew are 13th......
You can put any spin on it.....

The problem is you need to be winning games against teams in the Top 6 arguably more than other sides or you’ll just be a mid-table side.
You do at the end of the season, all it says now is who has started the season in good form, and we’ve played 4 form teams

we’re and brand new, young team, it was going to take 10 games anyway, but this team will be a different beast after Christmas

We are far better than Plymouth , Crewe and Gillingham.
Reminds me of England playing Scandinavian sides who park the bus.
England have far better players yet they struggle against a big physical defence.
On the rare attack they take advantage as Denmark did last Tuesday.
