55 year old man getting giddy

Is it wrong for a 55 year old man to get giddy about his favourite football teams upcoming season ?
Ive just watched the Bez Lubala interview on YouTube, and I find myself getting rather excited about the coming season.
You're older than 55😉

I am still the wrong side of giddy purely because we won't be there. Having watched the Stoke game though the nervous anticipation and excitement is undoubtedly still there.

I can’t say I ever get giddy about a season until about 15 games in - once the nights have gone dark and the table starts to take shape is when I start to show a real interest.

Think any pool fan is giddy with what is going on at mo... well prepared squad... good signings.. money spent (crazy lol).. liverpool friendly... what a time to be a pool fan. Still some good loan signings to arrive imo

Just hope when they go to Plymouth the club credit card doesn't bounce with the hotel!!oh how things have changed 👍

I’m getting very giddy now , been getting more and more excited about tomorrow’s first league encounter of this very strange season .

Meeting up at the new Yorkshire Seasiders HQ for a few drinks and watch the match. We'll all be very giddy.

Whether you are 5, 55 or 105 if you aren't giddy before 3 o'clock of a new season you might as well give up. Football isn't for you. Admittedly we have a lot to be giddy about but even, as an example, a nobber will feel some optimism at the moment. It will be the best he will feel all season woken from his dreams of glory by the harsh reality of 16:50.

Further to yesterday’s post about getting giddier the closer we got to the game, I left out how giddy I was getting, I was so giddy that on my way home from work , I called in at the club shop and purchased both the home and away shirts, and a mug for home and one for work.

One league defeat doesn't stop me being giddy for the season. I'm still convinced we will go up automatically.

I’ve turned 56 since my last post on this thread , so I am not a 55 year old getting giddy, we’ve had some indifferent days since my op, but I can honestly that the giddiness is back . COYP.

Was going to just have a couple of waters - then go to S Park for a kick around. Ended up havibg a few scoops and getting over excited

Giddiness is in the mind of the beholder, age is just a number! Blimey I’ve become a Buddhist thingy!!
