6 o clock kick off Tuesday

Finish work at 6pm on Tuesday (and can't knock off any earlier), mad dash to the car and should be in it by 6.05pm, stick Radio Lancs on for commentary, get home about 6.25pm and join the rest of you following the game.

Not ideal and I'd have taken the day off but a bit like the o/p I would've thought a 7pm start as usual?!

Good old sky probably have some other dross showing at primetime 8pm 🙄
No they've got Man Utd v Fulham at same time. 😁
Lge 2 semi at 8.

The EFL games would normally have been stand alone but since the TV companies have to show every game(this season)it's bound to happen.

remember years ago was staying at the inlaws and waiting for highlights of a liverpool game on tv at 10 30 went out of the roomof at 20 past 10 to avoid the results on news at 10 came back in for the kick off and mother in law chirped up with why you watching this theres no goals in it

Imagine if the home leg was at 6pm as it is for Oxford fans, considering the number of out of towners we have. Ridiculous KO time for a midweek game when people can attend again.
We've got the best deal having the home leg at 7:45pm on a Friday! You might say it's another perk of finishing third 😀

It wouldn't have been 6pm in normal circumstances for a midweek game, when is the last time pre covid anyone has been to game before 7?

Exactly, I can't remember it happening before, and as soon as fans were allowed back in it should've been a consideration for the KO time. That said, I'm wondering if it's just a consequence of a shortened season maybe. Can anyone remember if they normally have two play off semis each night during a normal season?

Usually the play offs first legs would have been played between Friday and today. With the Championship second legs being done by Wednesday if this week at the latest.

But when you can get fans through the gate from tomorrow, and the capacity for the play off finals is so much smaller than usual (hence easier to organise) you can understand why they have been delayed.

I would have preferred 3pm on Saturday. Or even half 3 👍
