21 years ago tomorrow. The biggest news item I've ever witnessed and I can remember that day so clearly. I think everyone does, I watched events unfold outside a TV shop in Bolton Town centre, quite a crowd gathered watching the footage. The world has changed considerably in these 21 years, not sure the war on terror was much success and even more disconcerting the culprits were Saudis, a country with an appalling record but the West seems to embrace all to readily. LIV golf, the acquisition of Newcastle and heavyweight world title fights are naked attempts at legitimacy. RIP the victims, the footage still chills me to the core.

I think the fact that we've got terrorists killing kids at pop concerts and knifing people rather than the more 'spectacular' stuff that preceded it suggests that we are winning the war on terror.

We are never going to stop all of them; but they've done nothing on the scale since.
