To first team players, this could make things either vry easy or very difficult for MA when the 25 needs to be announced

Oh yea Garbutt, after Thompsons performance yesterday and husband returning soon hopefully, i cant see a place for Garbs at left back and he wont fit into our midfield

Theres 4 to leave out of the squad then

Anderson- will be out for ages

Stewart- always injured, not worth a place

Garbutt- no place for him

Tharme- send out on loan to a league 1 club
 
CJ came on yesterday and didn't look like a footballer let alone a championship footballer.
Said to my lads on the way home after the match Dale doesn't get anywhere near that team🤷
 
On the basis of the 2 pre season games that I saw Dale never won fifty fifty challenge and did nothing creatively. IMO he doesn't want to play for the team post Critch. Garbutt is too slow and injury prone and Stewart needs his contract paying off again I don't trust hi attitude post Critch. I have been impressed with Doug Tharme but a loan out to a Div 1 club with a January recall would be good. Think we will bring in one more central mid and a striker. This could mean a loan out for Lavery and possibly Dougall or Virtue
 
Why is there a big desire to send players out on loan if last season is anything to
go bye we are going to have injuries to 1st team players to cope with, its no
good sending our squad players out on loan.

He was playing left back for most of it and kept a clean sheet

Luckily some are due back. Keogh was 50 50 for the game apparently so won't be far off.

Husband and Gabriel were recovering quicker than expected and may be back in the next weeks.

Maxwell won't have been playing anyway yet.
 
Apparently Stewart is our highest earner. If that’s true we need to get rid, always injured and I don’t think it’d be too hard to replace him using the money he’s on.
 
Saw Beesley on Saturday before the game and he still had one of those protective boots on one of his legs so I’am guessing he’s still a good few weeks away (if not months) with him recovering then a full training cycle ahead of him just to get match fit.

Think I'd be looking at getting another striker in and sending him out on loan when he's match fit (maybe back to Rochdale?). You're talking mid-October I reckon before he's a serious contender and we need another Madine like player in the side before then.
