A Dilemma For Klopp.

I suspect Klopp may start with mostly fringe players and U 23s but will probably bring on the big guns for a run at some point...especially if they are getting tanked!

They have had a weak subs bench for a while now. Certainly not the strength in depth of City or even Chelsea and have been fortunate with few injuries to key players.

They've been (and will continue to) losing £3m per game in match revenue per game, whilst still paying out ludicrous wages which is massively hampering their recruitment this summer. They're essentially having to sell to buy.
Chelsea & City aren't playing to the same rules as other clubs due to their oil funded ownership, which is why they are able to throw money around in a way FFP was supposed to put a stop to.
Chelsea's spending this summer is mind boggling, with more still to come.

liverpool or man city will win the premier there defence saturday may be under strengh but they have such a strong squad plus not lost a league game at anfield for about three years hopefully we give a good account of ourselves but were highly likely to get beaten heavily.

Liverpool will be very close to winning the title again, anyone thinking otherwise is a Man Utd fan or deluded. City have lost Silva but have recruited well although their defence is still worse than Liverpool's. Chelsea have spent a fortune and will be a bigger threat but don't have a top manager, I'm unsure if Frank will be a success. United are miles behind and once VAR stops awarding them a penalty every game, they'll drop away. Arsenal are also miles behind, they are at least 6 players off challenging.

Totally agree.
Chelsea, for all their spending, are still managed by Lampard, so will continue to be inconsistent.
I think United will improve on last year, especially if they manage to get Sancho.
Liverpool have been a shadow of the side that were unstoppable before lockdown, but whether they are able to return to that kind of form or if teams have sussed them out remains to be seen.

City and Liverpool. are still light years ahead of the rest of the pack.

I very much doubt they would have agreed to this game unless it was going to give 90 minutes to a lot of their players. They will be wary that their close season form wasn't great and I didn't think they played that well in the Charity Shield - be interesting to watch the Prem this season as I think last season may well have been the last for a while where a club has run away with it!

I have a feeling Liverpool will not even make the top 4 this season.
Scouse bubble will burst and they’ll blame it on everybody else.

Despite their impressive season, I have never believed they are a better football team than Man City. The scousers got every conceivable break last year: last minute goals, few injuries, VAR decisions, everything seemed to go their way. It will be interesting to see if they can do it again.

I completely disagree. They were much more consistent than City (who are just as talented going forwards) because:

a) they have a far superior defence
b) they maintained their standards from game to game far more successfully.

City were weak at the back and their standards varied a lot from week to week, whereas Liverpool were full throttle every game.

But I doubt whether Liverpool will be able to do it again, especially without any new legs in the side.
