Do we think they can get out of trouble?

They have games with sides they need to close on (Eastleigh, Maidenhead, Aldershot, Dagenham) going up, but also tougher ones with the likes of Notts County and Dover. February looks huge for them. I can't see them breaking 1k attendances in the National North if they go down and it is a hard, hard Division to get back out of.

The worst thing that's happened for both them and Fleetwood is the demise of the Oystons. The Fylde only has room for one big club and it's never going to be either of them.

But they’ve got a nice new shiny ground, good training facilities and a rich owner...... what could possibly go wrong!? 😮

We might well be the biggest club on the Fylde coast but we’re certainly not the best as things stand and by some distance even though we beat them convincingly at Bloomfield road Fleetwood are leaving us way behind at the moment and this ironically was our last win.
And in answer to the O/P I do hope AFC Fylde survive the drop I’am certainly no supporter of them but why do people hate them so much?

We don’t wish them any ill, but a resurgent Blackpool ought to put all local rivals under severe pressure attendance wise. I think they are bang in trouble.

You want to read it right if you base your attendance on a few bad your results then your fickle.
Wouldn't have a clue if you are. 👍

As long as they beat Sutton United I dont care.An established solid non league club who can survive on 500 gates with their infrastructure.

Thank you Macseasider I’am a relatively new member on here as are most but why some people choose to verbally abuse other Pool fans is totally beyond me can only assume they get kicks out of it being behind a keyboard.

Don't take it to heart mate. There are more decent posters than bad. Your point is very valid. There are 4 or 5 plonkers on AVFTT that love ridiculing a local non league team. Yet our own team's form is diabolical.

Don't be put off posting. 👍

I agree I am Blackpool through and through but still respect what a smaller local team is trying to achieve. They are no threat to us and despite the banter I have no desire to see Fleetwood go down. Let’s just be happy we have our club back with a decent owner that will get us back on track.

Find Fylde and Fleetwood pretty pointless clubs tbh. Without them we’d have 10,000 week in, week out

The Oyston years certainly dragged us down more than we'll ever realise, can you imagine AP and DH pumping their cash and passion in to BFC alongside SS on the board of directors? If the O's had done the decent thing and cashed in their chips once we went back down from the Prem this could have been a reality. Such a shame their efforts are wasted elsewhere as they were both once as much a fan as anyone on here.

I think we’d have 10,000 watching us if we were challenging for promotion in the top 6 with or without the other clubs here, it’s all about watching decent entertaining football week in week out and at the moment it’s the complete opposite and some armchair fans are staying at home right now.

I’ll be flouncing after Southend. Not doing 6 hour round trips for home games to watch Graysonball so completely understand it

I don’t normally check attendances apart from our own however only 3008 were at Fleetwood on Saturday. I assume that Doncaster brought a decent following too. How long will Pilley continue to pump money into the club.
