I’m sure our highest paid player is around the 7k mark, maybe lower at 6k?

I wouldn't have thought that Aiden McGeady will be earning £6,500 a week next season and especially not if he is signing for the Cods or Hibs.

McGeady might not be to our taste and he's probably a bit old but he's exactly the sort of player we don't have and could really do with.

The assist in last year's tinpot cup final was unreal. He's absolute quality when he clicks.

We won't be signing him. Not a chance. I would very much like us to sign a player who can really pass a football though.
