Life long BFC fan Alan Weightman, sadly passed away this week.
Alan would have been known to many at Bloomfield Road, and also on the away coach trips too.
He was a decent amateur goalkeeper throughout the 70's / 80's and also managed the Falcon Sunday League team.
I was lucky enough to play with and for him, as well as working with him.
One of lifes good guys and will be sadly missed.

Ps - I believe there are plans for a minutes respect at Bloomfield Road on Saturday

He did go on the BSA coaches, and I worked with him at NatWest back in the 80's / 90's. I think he went on to work at Innenco.

Don’t know about the BSA coaches ( although reading other threads I believe he did), however he worked for NatWest Bank in and around many branches on the Fylde.
