Back in the National League after 3 impressive wins in the play-offs against Chester, York and today Boston. Cost them over £70k to take part with the testing, with large contributions from fans and players. Well deserved.

Enjoyed watching the live streaming over the past 3 weeks. Itching to get back to Blackpool.

Yep, good to see another north west team in the National League.
It'd be great to see PKE make it there.

Altrincham means two very different things to me.

My initial thought is happiness. Mrs C & I stay in a hotel there that operate park and fly prior to our yearly holiday. Our visits are therefore great fun.

My next thought is oh no, not again. Those two defeats in the mid 80's were pretty humiliating.

Hope you are fit and well Timpers. 🙂

One of the old great non league teams( well in my day..bit like Morecambe were) and yes I was there for both of those FA cup defeats(kicked off the park as refs were more Lenient then☹️) but glad to see them promoted.

Had a family interest in this one, will find out more tomorrow. Maybe a mixed blessing. Part timers.

How refreshing that a great non league team replaces a vanity project manufactured one!

Yes, they were a tough team, but very different now, a very good footballing team. As for those defeats being humiliating, I don’t think so, I was there at Birm

Being a part-time club is a major challenge in National League, but I’ve seen enough in their style of play and fitness to think they’ll do ok next season. The club is a lot stronger than when it was last in NL.

It is stronger. Picked up a few players with good backgrounds. It's a step up in attitude for a lot of them in terms of their commitment.

Just worth recalling that Jacqui Forster was a huge Altrincham fan who sadly passed away a few years ago, after many years serving Supporters Direct who became the Football Supporters Association recently.
Significant to Blackpool fans because Christine Seddon became the first winner of her memorial award.
