Ouch. We certainly need to be making signings now with this the case!
Yes I'm sure we can, and his wages won't count towards the cap.I think we can take him out of the 25
Sounds like this injury has hampered him in recent years so maybe he will come back better when fully fit.Hope he comes back stronger, he certainly needs to come back better.
Quick recovery kid.Ouch. We certainly need to be making signings now with this the case!
Carrying an injury when he signed then?Ouch. We certainly need to be making signings now with this the case!
Felt like quite a bit of the recruitment last summer was through an agent(s) of choice offering the club out of contract solutions. He was the first one in and then others seemed to follow fairly quickly. Thought we were getting a travelling army of lads who'd finished up at Swindon at one point with their reps looking for the next opportunity. Missed a lot of time with them last season so a punt on his availability. And maybe more cost effective that way. We're league one so despite all the bells and whistles, it happens.I would have thought the problem would have been identified when he had his medical. Strange how we've signed more crocks than most over the years.
Yes and we're likely to remain in league1 until we go for quality over quantity.Felt like quite a bit of the recruitment last summer was through an agent(s) of choice offering the club out of contract solutions. The time to do that was probably before voting for a salary cap so it'll come down to the effectiveness of coaching and negotiation now. And retention of anyone who looks like they can make a difference.Yes and we're likely to remain in league1 until we go for quality over quantity.
Yes. Looks like a knee problem rather than a hamstring as NC said but sounds like a might as well get it done thing.Bit of a blow really. He was starting to blossom. Good luck to him.
Unfortunately, the coaching has been ineffective to date. The time to do that was probably before voting for a salary cap so it'll come down to the effectiveness of coaching and negotiation now. And retention of anyone who looks like they can make a difference.

I think it is hard to judge him if he has been carrying an injury for 2 years. Clean slate for next season for meI was really gutted when I saw this, for him and the club.
Can’t question Anderson’s effort when he’s played, similar to Yates, never stops running or trying as fans we love that.
I’m going to be controversial here and go against the majority opinion, I don’t actually think this is a loss for us this season.
He’s struggled for game time and when he has been played, it looks as thought, like with many of them he’s been experimented with and had his talents completely nullified. Thus resulting in him hardly contributing to the season. Not a knock on him he along with a few players have just not been used correctly and we still don’t know what many of them can actually do.
Looks like he needed this surgery for a while. Let’s hope it sorts what ever the problem was for good.
Will he ever get back into contention though?
If we’re sticking with a 442 or one of its varieties is there room for him? We have a multitude of options in the midfield, there’s talk of us brining in another creative midfielder who can crack defences, I can’t say that he’s pulled up trees as a wide man so it’s currently very hard to see where he fits in the future.
All the best for your recovery Keshi
I agree impossible to judge him, and I think he has something as a player.I think it is hard to judge him if he has been carrying an injury for 2 years. Clean slate for next season for me
Surely then you'd agree with this approach as we'll be bringing in another player?Hm, not sure I agree with this approach. Even if he was to come back for the END of the season, it leaves us a man down until then - surely it'd be better for him to just come back fighting fit for next season, rather than just catch the end and take up a squad place? Especially when we're crying out for some signings.
Does seem daft if he’s out for the season, but I’d only say if we get a good loan in his place.Hm, not sure I agree with this approach. Critchley is saying in that article that it hasn't been discussed, omitting him from the squad. It's something they'll decide upon at the "end of the window" as they'll know more about his surgery "in a few weeks".Surely then you'd agree with this approach as we'll be bringing in another player?
There is the mental impact on the player. Leaving him out means even if he works hard and gets back early there's no place for him. Also the player may not feel like part of the set-up anymore.Critchley is saying in that article that it hasn't been discussed, omitting him from the squad. The transfer window will be closed by then. Could get a loan to replace him so I guess that must be their thinking.
Maybe Anderson could fill in for Embleton against Sunderland, if ready.Actually a really good option to bring off of the bench. In this formation/tactics I think Anderson would be class replacing either Kaikai or Embleton. Not sure it suits CJ mind.
Not sure what this means exactly, I guess as you say it just doesn't mean he's going to be out all seasonBut what is the Stewart situation? Chizzy says out for the season, although Scrafters doesn't mention him in the players with no hope for the season.
I can't recall the club updating us on his progress.
Dirty Fleetwood bastard with a very late challenge into his ankle that the ref ignored at the time.Last I read KS was seen at the ground after the Plymouth game and was still using crutches with that boot on so good if he's at least past that stage now. Not seen what the injury is. I only saw him end up on the floor at the time. He missed three months at Hull with a break in his right foot so hopefully no flare up of that.
