Anglo-Italian 1971 Winners Medal

Just wondered whether anybody can help please ?

As a result of many house moves, both here and abroad, one of our Former Players has sadly lost his Anglo-Italian Cup winners medal from 1971

I know the chances of me getting hold of an original medal to replace the one he lost is very slim but perhaps somebody might be able to help with a replica medal that was commissioned 15 years ago for our 35th Anniversary Anglo-Italian Dinner

I borrowed Alan Suddick's ( The KING ... R.I.P. 😢 ) original medals and had 71 of the winners gold medal struck and 72 of the runners-up medal from 1972

All these replica medals sold out at the Dinner but perhaps somebody who bought one might be prepared to sell it please ... it's the player in question's Birthday next week and it would be great if I could surprise him with this medal ..... I know this would mean a great deal to him

If anybody can help then please get in touch ... I will pay you a good price for this .... much appreciated ... here's hoping !

Just bumped this as it would be great if one of the replicas could be traced.
Can't believe the anniversary dinner was so long ago...what a good night that was.

That Anniversary Dinner was 15 years ago

All being well we will have a 50th Anniversary Dinner at BFC next June which I'm sure will be well supported by the fans and a great night of nostalgia & reminiscing will be had

Really gutted that the 50th Anniversary Dinner that our Former Players Association had organised to celebrate Pool's Promotion To The Top Flight ( the famous Fred Pickering hat-trick ), that was scheduled for April this year, had to be cancelled due to the Covid

Brilliant gesture from both Wizaard and Blackpool-Rocks which is very much appreciated !

I'll look forward to next years 50th for the Anglo Italian!

Crossy I think I have one of the replica medals that you can have. If not required I'm happy to donate it to the new Armfield Club if they want it.
