Another Midfielder signs from Wolves

He's an interesting one ; young, some international experience, has been playing abroad. You get the impression that someone, somewhere, is doing their homework these days.

For me, the good thing is he's been playing consistent football, at 5'10" he clearly brings a bit more height to the side than some of the others vying d for the same position and maybe the most exciting thing is in his quotes on the club website - do we finally have a player who can pick the ball up and take it forward?

“I like to get on the ball and try and make things happen. I’ll take risks in the opposite half, try and get a few assists and chip in with a few goals. All in all, I just want to help the team wherever I can and try and help the team get back to where it belongs.”

A few comments I've found looking around the Wolves boards ..

Connor has received rave reviews after his performance for the Irish u 23s the other day. His loan in Slovakia has obviously done him good, with the chance to play good football on the ground. He was never going to enjoy English lower league football ,where the ball spends most of the time in the air. I suspect he will be a valuable player for us next season in the Europa League.

He showed some quality when he got a run in the first team so this seems sensible, he'll probably get loaned out again for development.

I'd like to see him play at a higher level than he's been at though, because he's a good player. Don't think he's at all suited to the English lower leagues though.

To look at him, he may just be a late developer. Hopefully he evens out in a season or two

Like that Kurt! It's a bold line up. Don't think I'd risk Kaikai if he's been having injections and would've thought he might throw Ronan straight in if he's been unhappy with certain players. Maybe controversially but have never been a fan of Fonz starting games and so at least that gives up options. Watching the 'highlights' from Tuesday, I was still amazed at how many times Tilt looked like he was going to give the ball away and so I'd try Edwards. Dare I sugest with that line up you'd also drop Spearing?

No I'd keep Spearing, I guess what we're looking at is lots of balls into the box from Bola and Feeney with Kaikai have the free roam option to do the same.

Grant or Ronan could go in that role and then from the bench Nuttal and Fonz as plan B options.
