The lads have had to suffer covid which affects them a lot more as Stars than mere normal folk, they've had their earnings cut by at least 10% over the last 12 months, they’ve had to overcome the Press trying to bury Ant for having a minor car accident and Ant himself has had to cope with the break up of his Marriage.

Yet despite all that they are putting on a Spectacular Show that is cheering the whole Nation on a Saturday Night with a mixture of side splitting humour, games, prizes, celebrities, music and pure uplifting Joy for all ages

We can only salute them and be Thankful to be living in the Ant and Dec era during these Covid times 👍

Thanks Lads on behalf of all at AVFTT

I am proud to be Chairman of their Fan Club for the last 18 months since Fat Barry sadly passed

They are fantastic 👍🏻

Ant McPartlin is as talented as my Patio.

He's been carried by Dec for years and is definitely not funny, unless you are a Benefits Bistro devotee ploughing into your plastic BigMuks.

ITV should have binned the talentless turd when he had his 'minor' car accident that could easily have wiped out a Family.

Crap tv

I’m not normally one to complain about a TV programme but I caught the last 10 minutes of it last week and I have to say I’ve never seen so much shite since I was unfortunate enough to see 5 minutes of Mrs Brown Boys.

Also, whether you are in a wind up or not, you shouldn’t be making jokes about drink driving. Especially when the car Ant drove into when he was pissed up had a 9 year old kid in.

Nothing cheers the soul as much as three points away from home. Certainly don't need the two Geordie boys to put a dampener on my evening especially if it's as bad as the Barlow shambles last week.😉😉😉

Wizz, you’ve told me privately that you are a fan 👍......sorry, edited.....you aren’t that big a fan and barely admire them at all (that do mate 👍)

Not watched - but Billy Connelly Made In Scotland had me smiling, laughing and damn near crying (ok, crying) we don’t know what we have till its gone - Ant and Dec (which one is which still) can only dare to dream about greatness!

Move to Scotland then mate if you can’t appreciate elite English Talent

It has its funny moments but on the whole a tad immature. That Stephen Mulhern fella needs to do one though, he’s irritating and really brings the product down with this stupid act they have him playing, he isn’t funny.

Last week with the edible orchestra was also rather cheesy and unamusing.

Saturday Night Takeaway
The Voice/X-Factor/<other generic copy>
Masked Singer
Love Island
ITV Be
The absolute state of 'popular'/chart music!! There is next to no innovation. Even cheesy stuff from the 80s was musically complex. These days they all centre around the same format, chord progression (if you can call it that) etc. and is hence why they are all suing each other currently for 'copyright infringement' 😂 🤦‍♂️

I'm all for escapism - the world can can be scary/rubbish - but the stuff listed above feels like it's deliberately made to dumb down the population and obviously must be profitable for those who dictate its existence.

Miserable young get that I am 😂😁

I think the show needs a live audience more than a football match needs a crowd.

It is utter rubbish. No wonder Covid related arrests have increased over the last two weekends.

On at the same time Saturday night BBC 2
Perry and Croft-Made in Britain
My perfect comedy hero - Hugh Dennis on Ronnie Barker
Perfect telly, still pissing my self

The opening to Saturday's show with Rag 'n' Bone man was the cringiest piece of TV ever - that is my only comment as I didn't watch beyond that!

I'm not blood im quite the opposite maybe I'm stuck in the 70s
I’m only messing mate 👍....nothing wrong with the 70s. I was 3 when they started and 13 when they finished and apart from the Unions ruining the country, poverty, regular power cuts, only 2 decent tv channels, casual racism, flared trousers and hidden widespread child abuse it was a great decade

We had not much materially but we were as free as birds..it was great

We did I remember mum chasing us round the fields at the back of our house screaming..its time to come in boys...me and my brothers hated that and all ran for cover..
Could be out from 8am to 9pm in Summer running about playing footy, cricket etc etc with a couple of quick trips home for food/drink .....no phone, no internet, very few people depressed etc etc
