To be launched to reward healthy living, with vouchers given for being good.
Why only for pilots?
Why only for pilots?
A tax on junkfood would be unfair on otherwise healthy people that enjoy an occasional takeaway/junkfood treat. Same with alcohol which is a big contributing factor to obesity and other health issues, im sure most on here would be pissed off with a huge tax on beer.FFS so dumbass humans need to be offered incentives to lead a healthy extended life. Why not refuse NHS treatment to obese people and stick a 50% tax on all fast and unhealthy food. That’s the only incentive needed to lead a healthier life.
Fuck off you skinny **I just despair when I read initiatives like this. Kids are taught at school about exercise, healthy eating and junk food. Do we really need to reward bad habits?
Take responsibility for your life.
Stop expecting others to do it for you. We should be using our taxes to help those born requiring assistance The elderly that need help after a life of service and to those injured who need assistance.
So you’ve pigged out for years and years and now you need incentivising to lose weight?
LolFuck off you skinny **
Alcohol is already heavily taxed, approximately 54 pence a pint is duty, then ofcourse there's 20% VAT.A tax on junkfood would be unfair on otherwise healthy people that enjoy an occasional takeaway/junkfood treat. Which goes to prove a big tax on junk food will have no effect as I haven’t noticed people giving up drink in large numbers…..Alcohol is already heavily taxed, approximately 54 pence a pint is duty, then ofcourse there's 20% VAT.
Why stop there? Let’s refuse smokers, drinkers and those doing exercise which causes them injuries? They are also a drain on the NHS. What a short sighted ill conceived comment!FFS so dumbass humans need to be offered incentives to lead a healthy extended life. like the sugar tax on coca cola but you just go and buy sugary drinks from asda brand at 30p for a litre only people benefitting from it is cocaa cola company as it isnt all sugar taxWhich goes to prove a big tax on junk food will have no effect as I haven’t noticed people giving up drink in large numbers…..
Lucky you mate, I had a group of mates in my 20s, some like me always struggled with weight even though we ate, drank and did the sam exercise/sport as others who never put weight on. It’s been a constant struggle all my life, but I do keep trying and I’m nowhere near like many I see round here.I can't understand how so many people allow themselves to become obese.
Surely they must realise that they are overweight?
I'm lucky, i eat what I want and never put weight on. The heaviest I've ever been was 11 St. when in the army.
I lost it and and have always remained under 11 St.
I am lucky but I think if I ever got so much overweight I would do something about it.
Unlike Dodgy, I am addicted to food and have a healthy appetite.
We had a woman at work who buckled a desk just by leaning on it daily. She eventually had her jaw wired to reduce her intake but got round it by liquidising Mars bars in milk then drinking them through a straw. What about free locks for the fridge and freezer and muzzles which don’t allow gargantuan bites into Triple Whopper Burgers
