Anyone else a smidge disappointed ..

I’ve a feeling that anyone else we get in now will be a loan option, but we’ve pulled off some gems historically just before the season starts (Adam, DJ, Simpson…) so I just hope the silence means they’re busy, and not sleeping! 😅🍊

I would have liked others this week , so they were ready for the season start. Arriving next Thursday or so is not ideal.

Probably not as disappointed as Critch .. yes we have a decent first XI but we still don't quite have that strength and personally I like all my ducks in a row before the season starts.
 
I think a smidge disappointed is about right but that's from my impatient football fan side who can't wait for the season to start!

In reality, everyone in the league will probably add and shed a few from their squad, everyone is looking to improve in some areas. I'm confident going into the first game with what we have available but we will need more in the long run.
 
Totally disagree if anything we have too many players and a top heavy squad. If anything we need to shed a few and then just get a couple of loans as and when required but only if they’re first team ready

Not really. These things always seem to drag out with us.
 
There certainly will be more incomings. I think that’s a given as there is 5 weeks left of this window.
 
Have we got a squad list ? I'd say we are well stocked all over apart from 1 more striker but that depends on where joseph is at fitness wise.

For me we just need one striker and one right attacking winger although I’m pretty sure Joseph can be utilised in that position (when fit).

I've probably missed a couple but that's 8 midfielders
 
We have a decent though not fantastic first 11 but really lack quality in depth. We are still playing catch up from previous shortcomings and whilst I hope we can make the play offs I have my doubts. As mentioned above you get used to it being a Blackpool fan but it has been a decent window for quality but well short on numbers. Another five quality signings and we could have been automatic contenders..just hope we don’t get bitten on the arse with early injuries ..an avoidable scenario

I think 2 or 3 will leave by 1st Sept. Virtue Dale Tharme/Casey Beesley all possibles. Maybe even Trybull if someone comes in for him.
 
I think we all recognise we still need a couple more, the leaked bid for Moxon confirms the club are active. We just need to be patient, we want the right players and of that takes a little bit of time, that is fine with me.

That's partly outweighed by the fact we are now a division lower. I don't think you can ever know for sure how strong you are until you play at least 10 games. It all depends on how strong every other side is in the division.
 
I think there’s no rush if what we want is not currently available. I too expected perhaps one more incoming before the Burton opener, but often managers want to see wha they’ve got a couple of league games in before further incoming/outgoings.

Like many have said, we have a fairly good track record of getting in some unexpected gems on loan.
 
Not at all, if we were signing players every other day, people would be complaining that we were using the “Scattergun “ approach. It takes time to get the right players in place that fit the criteria required.

Actually I can't for one second think there's not a forward coming in. I'm sure it's in hand.
 
I would hope having seen how ineffective Beesley is and without knowing what Joseph is like that a striker is still our main priority.
